  1. Short update: my plans have changed a bit i plan on putting all the running gear out of yellow into red as i found out yellow has accually been rolled and there is about 3 inches of bog on the roof just above the passenger side front seat i wouldnt have picked it but if you push on the roof lining from the inside you can feel the roof being folded down

anyway this will happen after winter because i want to paint it all up at the same time

    cheers

    cheers

    ***edit***

i am also going to keep track of how much this car will cost to rebuild so here goes

    Car $150

    Trailer $32.50

Petrol Money for dad to tow trailer $20

  7. keep the headliner and front door cards as there are handy when you roll as it gives you a little more padding and avoids you from damageing your helmet (if your wearing one lol).

get a car that wont die to easly, i.e. a ke70 (something old and pushrod they seem to last longer).

we had a t-18 and a 120y t-18 was incredible fun, it blew clouds of smoke and i was scared of revving it over 4,000 because of the super bad piston slap (it had no rings), the 3t had heaps of toque.. it got rolled twice and thing to kill it was the t-series kinda broke in it :)

the 120y was held on the valve bounce constantly and smashed threw gears thanks to the dog box no or little clutch was needed. never over heated even though when it was running it wouldn't get over about 70km's and wouldn't fall below 4,000. mods included sick sounding side pipe, stripped interior custom scalloped side from tree swapping and 13" corolla steelies on the front.

haha that sounds like fun a bit like what i am planing to do but a little less harsh and we are setting up a rally stage and doing timed runs

  8. Mask the rims up and spray them black, then clear coat. should look better, and stay looking good longer.

yeah i ahve been told its a good idea to use clear coat over the top it gives it a glossy look??

anyway nothing much is happened to the rolla lately as i have been sick and once i got better it has rained :lolcry:

  9. Update: Started removing rust from those couple of major spots to and had a bit of ago at the radiator support but neighter got finished cos of that bloody rain  ;)

so ill get onto it though the week and post some pics soon
