    Update: well 2 in one day I'm on a roll :hmm: :S

     

    i started pulling the ke70 apart i plan on using the front brakes, front seats,rear sway bar custom adapted and a few other tiny little things including handbrake console.

     

    i have planned out what i want to do and some of the modds include:

     

    4k with 3k bigport head

    32-36 weber and sports filter

    extractors and sports exhaust

    ke 70 front brakes inc preformance pads

    rear swaybar

    nice set of wheels hopefully 5 spoke i don't know why i just like them

    and fix up all the bodywork

    and anything else i think of or get told would be cool

    UPDATE :yes:

     

    Finally got around to starting work on my ke30 and guess what i found... Rust... :y: but on the upside it will be easy to fix because its only in the engine bay :) :dance: :bash:

    also i managed to get a ke70 with a 4k a 5 speed box a 32-36 weber carby and extractors for free so i am rather happy about that. i have attached so pictures

    the last pic is of that very front rail that runs below the radiator how would be the best way to fix that??

    Theres a ke70 sedan up in a prospect car yard. the yard is just past mitre10 as if you were heading towards the highway.

    It's an auto though, don't think its got a price either, oh and the colour is a tan/brown. :) :bash:

    It's only a small yard but you can't miss it. :yes:

    Update:

     

    have been fitting the dash and have reilised that my fuel guage isnt acurate when i took it out when it was right down the guage was showing around a 1/4 full. also my fuel guage only works when the hand brake is off and i have a constant charge light on

     

    any help appreciated

    Hi every one i have finally got a ke30 for a project car :P :)

    It was my dads old runnabout which i thought was in worse condition than what it was

    yeah well the main reason i am having a play around with this car isnt to win any car shows its mainly to learn about cars and to have a bit of a rally around with my mates. As for the rust the photo makes ot look worse than it really is hopefully get some better pics later in the week

    haha yeah ok you win also i would like say if any bits off this car i wont be using i will let you all know because i don't want to waste any good parts :) i will be using this car for a bit of motorkhana off road style so if there are any mods you know about please let me know

    hi every one i have recently recovered a old and very rusty ke55 from a backyard near my dads work. it cannot be registerd again but i was thinking of builing it up as a bit of a fun car to drive around a mates farm and up the local forestry. I have no intension of trying to damage this car just for the sake of damaging it. My plans include rebuilding and modifiying the standard 3k and exhaust. Fitting sump guard and skid plate, welded diff, beefing up front and rear bumper's and putting in a push button start.

     

    What do you think

  18. 4th Cylinder Dead

    hi people i have a kind big issue the 4th cylinder don't seem to be pulling its own weight. i have checked that there is spark and there is. if you look at the bottom of the plug it has a few brown marks but other than that its brand new?? looking at the others they are all brown all the plugs are almost new PLEASE HELP :-(

    hi guys i have been playing around with a old ke30 thats been sitting in my backyard for years i finally got it started and run it for a while then i just stopped i wound it over but it wouldnt start. i eventually pulled of the fuel hose just be for the pump and it made a kind of sucking noise, i put it back on and wound it over again and started and then run for a while and done the same thing again Please help!!!! :D :(
