Hi got a bit of a problem with my 4age conversion and need some help i have got a blue top 4age with a map sensor & tvis and am unsure which ecu i need the engine is origanaly a rwd so does that make it jdm??? anyway the ecu plugs are yellow any help gratefully appreciated Marcus

yeah i know i have a couple of "holden heros" who just think its "nans" new corolla engine put in "nans" old corolla but they just don't get that these little engines really get up and go :dance: i will try to get some more pics of it tommorow if i get a chance and just pray its somthing simple..... :bash: :bash: :bash:

sorry mate well really the problem is no spark i have checked that the coil has 12v supply,done a pin to pin check of the whole loom what I'm tipping is that the igniter or distributor wiring is wrong for the loom so i need a rwd bluetop map wiring diagram with igniter wire colors cheers

Update!!!!! managed to get myself a good 4age package happening a few weeks back and have been flat out installing mr 4age into the old girl but like anything enountered a few little problems wiring is a issue as it appears that the looms had a few mods and is in a bad way managed to get all the ignition and starter and all that business sorted but no matter how hard i try just cannot get it too spark i have litteraly tried everything i can find on the internet but i think the loom is different for the engine its a blue top rwd bigport with tvis iv got loom diagrames and stuff off the internet but nothing really matches up posible problems: distributor plug to loom plug dizzy has red blue and white wires and loom is red black and white when the plug in the red goes to white black to blue any ideas?? also has anyone got a pin out for the igniter which is part 89620-20221 nd 131100-4762 any help appreciated oh and i will grab some more pictures of the wiring and plugs and igniter cheers Marcus

Hi every one i have owned this car for a fair while but with work and everything i just havent had a chance too get the beast on the road i have do a fair bit too it i guess its just taken forever too do it when i got it i had to put all the suspension and wiring all the engine gear box and diff everything i posibly could i replaced with new items heres how it sits at the moment my plans are just to get it on the road and drive it for a while then mabey add a little bit more horse power and some bigger brakes I'm after a few parts please pm me if you have anything that appears missing from my car Cheer marcus

ok heres a list off the top of my head rear windscreen door handles window winders both mirrors clutch cable ( same as ke30 ) ????????? plastic covers for parcel shelf pillars complete tail lights side indicators front park light and indicators roof lining chrome bits and thats just the start thats the reason I'm keen on a whole car because i am missing quite alot of bits :) :P please pm me with any bits u may have cheers

hi people just wondering if anyones got ke20 bits they want to unload I'm after basicly all the little things iv got a really straight shell but it didnt have everything with it :wink: after stuff like: complete tail lights side indicators front park light and indicators all the plastic bits from the interior roof lining if i could get my hands on a complete car id be laughing body condition isnt important cheers

Ok so a short update untill i get picks tomorow Things iv done to this car since i have ownd it most parts out off my yellow 55 went into this car swapped: engine/gbox tailshaft diff front brake setup radiator complete wiring windscreen wiper motor windscreen wiper arms bumpers pretty much the whole interior sterio system all the chrome strips New stuff 2 inch tacho new brake lines amp brake pads/ shoes all the way round ill have pics up tomorow I'm extremly happy with how its all coming along. took it for its first drive a week or so ago and it handles great bit rough due to about 50 leaves in the leaf pack buts all good very twitchy but ill get used to it

haha yea i did get warned about the wiring and struts and as of now the struts have been replaced and all the wiring done :P i think the next thing ill have a play with the interior and get that sorted then body work :) ill see how i go for the cruize i want to make sure its right

haha yep thats it :D :P ill get some pictures tomorow also took it for a drive today definatly getting those struts changed they sure aint to most greatest asset to the car also today i replaced every bit of wiring loom in the whole car which fixed alot of issues

Iv bought the red rocket!! :) :wink: went for a treck to george town last saturday to pick this beast up and a 2t and a 13t and a couple of t gearbox's of falken ke30 and his bro nick. Good to meet you boys by the way :cool: anyway this is how it sits at the moment I'm going 4 a 4k for a little bit just so i can see what i want to change suspension wise then going a 2tg with a t50 :yes: :yes: i also want to keep a tally of how much i spend on it so here goes $$$$$$$$$$$ car 950 13t 50 t50 50 anyways any help with the t side of things would be much appreciated

ok its on kart state titles are over for the year so all my funds go into my little ke20 :bash: started stripping shell down abit more today all alectrics out, hardly anything left in the interior went to pull the fuel tank out found it full of fuel :) :) absalutely(spelling) chockers so drained that out into some drums and tomorow will get it to the point where i can pull the drain bungs out and was all inside because this car is dirty :bash: mite be buying another shell aswell so i will swap and change bits to build a ripper of a car anyone who has any other ke20 bits please let me know cheers

update even if it is only minor i am isoon going to be getting on with it got myself a mig welder and a few air tools to fix some rust and a mate who's a car painting gun so he's lined up to help with the painting after this weekend progress will be happening so stay tuned

well a bit of a update: aced my p's test so now i can finally use the rolla as of 2 weeks ago also got a set of css dish wheels with awsome tires for free so really happy with that. also spent all of today tidying the little beast up abit fixed my windscreen washers, redone my air supply to the carby replaced a front wheel bearing and a few other little bits Planning on putting my genie extractors on tomorow and making some brackets up for my handbrake console heres some pics 5 mins of polishing the wheels extractors air intake planning on putting my 5 speed and auto diff in tomorow
