  1. Ohhh shit *bites nails nervously* So i spose going on a cruise with CruisingBrisbane tonight could jeopardise my current points? (although there's no way the rolla is roadworthy anyway)
  2. ^^ True, but would that entail points as well? I've only 2 left :hmm: I would like to leave it as is, because the tailpipe is still hanging there. Just this arvo comin home, a copper was following me for a bit, as usual I packed my dacks, but he just swerved around me, no indicator, no flashy lights, speeding.... :D Still, I'm glad he didn't take an interest in me. Of course I backed off my normal driving style to reduce noise, because it is loudest at 2-2.5 grand. Would a straight or enlarged pipe still keep the same sound as it is? I'm not gonna buy a cannon or anything ridiculous like that. I want to spend as little as possible, if not, nothing.
  3. On my way to work yesterday morning, the exhaust note seemed to be louder than normal, so I turned off the stereo, and it sounded cool! I checked it later that day, and the joint between the tailpipe and rear muffler behind the axle had completely snapped off! I'm rapt, finally have a decent note and some mad bubbling on the over-run, all for zilch! :D Now, as far as I know, it is illegal to have an exhaust system which ends in front of the rear axle, so this should be legal, right? It isn't very loud, I'm 95% sure it's below legal dB limit....

Spotted, late this arvo at Hyperdome carpark, what I thought was a KExx (older than KE30), white. Anyone? Also, on my way to Brown Stains Q Ford, saw Jon's place, now I know where you live mate, ;)

Spotted, this arv on Pacific Highway at Springwood/Woodridge, White KExx plates FUN 469. Anyone know of this?
  12. Got a question, there won't be any persons of authority inspecting cars for road-worthiness, will there? I mean, I'm not goin to do anything stupid or illegal, I would just rather my car not be put off the road...
  13. I'll definately be there, cleared the calender :P
  14. It's all good, got it sorted. The driver's side inner tie rod end was completely buggered. Brand new one costs $33 retail, I got it for $18 trade price :hmm: Fitted it, no more rattle at all. My uncle showed me how to do a wheel alignment with four tools, no machines or anything like that. Steers like a dream
  15. Hey Jon, that Rolla is lookin slick as man, good work on it! Hope mine can look nearly as sweet as that. Couple questions, which are the best wreckers and other shops to go to for KE30 parts, or parts that would fit a KE30? Also, my dad wants me out of my baby and into a newer car (not brand new, just newer than 32 years old haha). I believe my car is currently not roadworthy, far from it actually. Do you reckon I should get this car looking schmick and roadworthy, or go for another car. Keeping in mind I've just started my apprenticeship, meaning I'm pretty much always broke. Thanks.
  16. Pictures: I will update pictures when I get a chance, I now have a Specometer tach and Kenny sticker. Also, fitted a brand new inner tie rod end (got it for trade price too :n: ), that was what caused the vibration, not flat spots. P.S. sorry for posting twice, but for some reason, I can't edit my above post.....
