  1. I'll be there in my turbo rig, I think doing some drift demos with drifting tas. Should be a fun weekend!
  2. Hey guys, I'm chasing some KE70 flat front guards, the straighter the better!
  3. Nah buddy, doesn't have to be RWD, as long as it's a smallport I'd be massively keen on taking it off your hands. Also while I'm posting here, I have a few bits in the parts for sale forum I'm trying to get rid of. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/60282-tas-4age-bits-4ag-carb-ignition-setup-wheels-fixed-back-seat-misc/
  4. In need of a smallport 4AGE inlet manifold if anyone has one.
  5. Hey guys, I'm after some KE70 flat front guards, I have some flared slant front guards I'll be looking to get rid of, as well as lights and stone tray. I also have a tacho dash that I want to off load. Cheers!
  6. Chasing a drivers side window winder internals and gear for a KE70. Cheers!
  7. Just did a motorkhana on Saturday, shat the fuel pump, going to have to set up a surge tank before the 27th for the practice day down Hobart. Couple of new videos, one of a lap from the super sprint around Symmons and one of the motorkhana. Enjoy! Motorkhana Super Sprint
  8. Managed to get a 1.15.78 out of it on the weekend, which I'm pretty happy about! For comparison sake there was a 20v clubman out there as well which managed a 1.17.81. mind you the driver wasn't pushing as hard I don't think. So my car has came from being 4K powered with weber and extractors on fairly standard driveline with woeful tyres doing a 1.27 to what it is now, an internally stock 4A with the R1 carbs and extractors on coilovers front, stiff springs in the rear on woeful tyres with a 12 second improvement. I can't wait for some decent cams and more compression. I've also still got to finish off the intake setup which will feed more air in, so I can run slightly bigger jets and hopefully get more pull up high and on the move. Other plans are to get a bigger brake setup front and rear, get some decent tyres for track days. Next goal is to get a 1.12 out of it before trying to get more grunt out of the 4A. I'll hopefully have some footage and photos up of the day soon.
  9. The Motor Sports Club of Tasmania is holding a super sprint day at Symmons in just over a weeks time. Pretty sure some of you lot should get out there and have a go. No excuses, even if you're still running a standard K motor. Supp Regs are here Entry Forms are here Basic costs for the day if its your first time. $45 - Club membership $95 - Entry fee for day $95 - Cams 2S licence (full year) +fuel +whatever else All forms can be filled out on the day, I'm not sure if they do it still but you can opt for a cheaper, single day cams licence. But it makes sense just to go for the full year. As for what needs to be done to your car, to quote the supp regs... "21. Vehicles All Vehicles must comply with Schedules A & B of the General Requirements for Automobiles in the 2011 CAMS Manual of Motorsport. Vehicles must be adequately muffled to comply with noise restrictions. Fuel must comply with Schedule G of the current CAMS Manual. The following should be especially noted:- All cars must be fitted with:- • Seat belts to AS2926, E35 or of a type specially approved by CAMS. As per Schedule I of the CAMS Manual of Motor Sport. • A fire extinguisher (securely fitted) which complies with AS 1841 and be of at least 900g capacity and maintained in accordance with AS 1851 As per Schedule H of the CAMS Manual of Motor Sport • Roll bar/cage is recommended for all events. However for Single and Multi-car non-race Speed Events, roll over structures are not mandatory. • A blue triangle (150mm sides) indicating battery location • Be configured so that, when measured in competition conditions at 30m from the track edge, the sound emission from the vehicle does not exceed 95db (A) • At least two independent fastening systems for rear hinged bonnets. Two separate fastening systems on any front opening panel. • If a logbook has been issued for a vehicle, then it must be produced at scrutiny. • All vehicles to be of neat and tidy appearance. • Cars that are required to have roll bars fitted must also be fitted with at least a lap-sash type seat belt." Get amongst it, or at least come watch, I'll be out attacking the track at 1/2 - 3/4 throttle if my car still isn't tuned properly
  10. Uploaded a clip of an inside view of the motorkhana from last year. Waaatahhh. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Al1AzXIHjc Doing a super sprint in around 3 weeks time. It should be good to see how much time it cuts off the 1.26 (or 28's? can't remember) the 4K was doing around Symmons.
  11. So a few mates and I have a stable of dungers we smash about in a paddock with, as you do. This is currently the cleanest of the group - for now. It's rocking a mad tight 300,000ks+ 3K... for some reason, not sure why. Locked diff. Bald tyres. Tow bar. TRD 80's rattle can paint job. And here is a couple of videos from a couple of khanacross events some of us went and had a play at, mainly just to slide about and have a laugh. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zm9ysGD0nw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7CS_vBQStPo Recently picked up another addition to the stable, a baby blue/moss KE70 wagon.
  12. Chasing a passenger side front indicator for a KE70/AE71 if anyone has one.
  13. Nah, it's just a bit smokey hey, I want a spare to rebuild while still driving it.
  14. Chasing a 16v 4AGE block, big or small port, not fussed. PM me if you have one or know of one somewhere. Cheers!
