Yes guys we will still do this I know we did this last year over the Summernats weekend but with stuff happening and the Nats being so close to new years it will not happen at the same time as the Nats. What we are looking for is some idaes on what you want :y: One member has offered a bring your own BBQ at his home so far. Come on guys post you idea's up and lets have a social meet up and let our hair down :bash: Also do you want the awards like last year? If so are you willing to help cover the cost even if you are not getting one? would only be $3 - $5 bucks, the more that are willing to put in then the cheaper it will be......... as the members that came last year know it was all a bit of fun even if you didn't get one. Remember we do not pay membership fees etc... so we have no money to pay for stuff unless members help out and last year my wife designed the awards, printed them and paid for the glass frames etc... and she is not a member but she now has a project rolla in the back yard :dance:

Ok guys who wants to do a meet up and maybe a cruise and when? Please only vote if you are a ACT member or if you are from interstate and you WILL BE in Canberra for the Nats and you are GOING to come to the meet up.

If we go for a Sunday arvo then it will need to be away from PSR. Maybe we could have turns in hosting a meeting? A sunday BBQ over the warmer months once a month would be good but.

Well ok then I wanted to put it in a nice way but now here it is then. We are all a totally screwed up bunch of Corolla loving people with about every possible screw loose. :lol:

I like the Seca model.........shame I have no $$$ available at the moment as I ned to get the AE102R on the road for the wife first. We may have a X-mas BBQ happening soonish.........watch our section for details.

Not sure about the BBQ bit, was not discussed further but will be talked about tonight. I will be back at the workshop at 7pm and Thomo will not be there so wait for me and I will open up for us.

Many thanks to the members that showed up with there cars today. Sorry I did not spend much time at the club display area, was busy doing the social thing with other clubs letting them know that we are here and catching up with people I have not seen for a while. Was a big turn out with heaps of very nice cars on display and thatnk you to the CCG for having us attached to there display. I think this made a mark as when I spoke to people and told them where we were it made it easy, just had to say over in the toyota section. Also great to see most of the toyota clubs out and in the same area as well just a shame we did not get more of our own club cars out there. All in all it was not a bad day and I will post pics in the Marques Pics post later as will sammo.

Now with xdave also joining the club last night that gives us 3 new members in 10 days :P This is top stuff, cruise and BBQ times are going to be good if members turn up. :)

getting a permit on the AE102 today so it will be there, shame it is not finished but.

Myself and one or two othrs will be setting up but if any would like to do the cruise they can. Are you still showing 2 cars sammo? So what if it is shit, the sprinter is not in show condition either but it will be there. Wags is a work in progress just like most of our cars.
