Hi guys been away awhile sorry, saw earlier you were talkin bout a car trailer, the missus dad has one and a commy that I could prolly get my hands on if I sling him sum petrol money, just need a bit of notice as they go down south a lot. Also happy to come along and help out as a wrench monkey, would love to learn the ins and outs of workin on a car. If you want to learn how to drive well without the stress of using your own car I would recommend going to the AHG driving centre and doing one of their courses, I did one where you drive an MR2 Spider and they take you through a whole bunch of courses, they sit a qualified race driver with you and he runs you through almost every thing you need to know. I would also be happy to try my hand at driving, but since I don't have much in the way of car parts to bring to the table I'm happy just to help with the mechanical side of things. Brodie

NO!!!! that ship has sailed :( Y not have 2 projects running?? And I know everyone hates excels, I think thats the point, you can thrash it to pieces and now feel bad.

Going back on what white_sandshoes said in SA they have whats called an excel rally, which just means people get an roadwaorthy and licensed excel install a rollcage take out seats and what ever then race, no engine mods, the idea is you spend $5,000 on car, rollcage, fire extingishure and membership and you have yourself a race car. It would be good to get an event like this in perth. There is a website for the event I will see if I can find it..... EDIT: The site is, belive it or not, www.excelrally.com.au. Its a forum and they have Queensland, Victoria, Tassy and almost anywahere else but WA, Maybe we could get a WA series. If anyone is interested we could get a few people from different forums who are interested, there must be at least a few people. Edit 2: Found this in the quokka Hyundai Excel LS 1992. 128000km. Regularly serviced, no rust. Lady owner. $1000 ono. It could be heaps cheaper to use excels, it would eliminate arguments as no one would wont to admit ownership and have it at the house :P

If you are going to build a race car don't you think it should actualy be a car lol. You need to decide whether you want a thrasher or a race car. You can always take it to the AHG place on saturday morning, it costs about $90 or something and you can drive around on a small course. Id be happy to put in some time and cash to help though, I've always wanted to at least know someone with a race car lol, and I'd love to have a drive, i miss the go-karts.....

My friends cat caught and ate this mouse a couple of days ago and it often munches on rats and stuff. So my question is, why don't they make mouse or rat flavoured cat food???? It was just a thought I have before falling a sleep last night. Brodie

Just picked up a GPS unit for the car, a nav-m8, I'm totaly stoacked I got the unit the car suction cap thing and the charger, but the guy didnt have any software, I was wondering if anyone has one of these and has the software CD, I have searched the net and can't seem to find anything. Got it for $100 too and its in realy good nick.... Yay me... Cheers Brodie

I think its about consequences, nothing ever happens to them. I think there are to many people out there that just don't care.... And they probably never will, but we could at least voice our concern to them

Nah I didnt get to see the car at all. I am glad I didnt get time to think about chasing them, In the suki I probably would have t-boned em as they turned a corner. At the time I couold have killed them but I'm glad I didnt now lol... Thats so f@$ked. Was ya kid OK???

Ok so last night I was driving home from my Fiances parents house and I heard an explosion just behind my left ear, that sounded like it came from inside the car i was driving. I swerved a little but braced myself cause I thought My tyre had popped. Turns out some little dickheads driving by on the other side of the road and thrown an egg, and by some lucky coinsedent it went straight through my open window hit my ear and exploded over the window. Luckily I was in the Suzuki Sierra shitta that I drive and not my rolla, unluckily the suki can't catch much other than a tortoise. What got me though was not that they'd done it to me but that they were just doing it to anyone, I started thinkin if it was my fiance she probably would have swerved and if there were people walking on the foot path shge would have hit them, If it was a little old man, someones grandad or father he could have had a heart attack and then what??? veer off the road through someones livving room and wipe out their kids while they watch TV. It pissed me off most that these dickheads where doing this to anyone let alone me. These kind of people make capital punishment look like a good idea, how can you have such a disregard for other people??? Anyway it just REALY pissed me off and I thought this may just be the place to vent my anger. Brodie

Hey guys, I want an Ae71,70 or Ke70. Is it to much to ask :dance: lol. I can't seem to find one anywhere. What I don't want is to pay $4000, can any one help? I have been looking for a while and a few seem to pop up every now and then in the Quokka but they all seem pretty over priced. It doesnt have to be flash, I have a car at the moment so I can park it out the back and fix it up a bit. I wouldnt do this unless I'd looked so any help is greatly appreciated. Man that car is in immaculate condition..... If its a mate y don't you just charge him for the time u spent gettin it and the battery and maybe a little xtra???? On a quokka note there have been a few sedans in there the last few weeks that are 1985 and back which probably means they are Ae71's or Ke70's but people are askin $2000... Does anyone reackon its worth it??? I mean I wont one but I could get a heaps newer car for the same price.
