  4. Thanks for the replys!, Checked the cable, cable is in great nick, needle and seat should be okay, just got the carby reconditioned a little over 3 months ago, but I did loose the spring that operates the accelerator plunger thing, but I replaced it with one I found, maybe thats the problem? Dunno Thanks guys Reg
  5. Wow, I only get 320 Km's out of a worked 4K which sucks :hmm: dunno whether its my right foot but I don't think I'm that bad :jamie: By the way I use Caltex Vortex 98 with a stock carbie. Reg
  6. I think its the ballast resistor on its way out, they tend to do this, or check your points/rotor button. Just a suggestion, Reg
  7. Hey guys, Dunno whether this happens to any one else, but occasionally my throttle becomes a mind of its own, when I flatten it to the floor, sometimes it will stay there and takes 1 or 2 hard quick taps to release it from being stuck, anyone else find this a problem? If so how do I go about fixing it? I tried searching found nothing. Thanks all. Reg
  8. Hey mate, I got some superlites for my KE35 cost me $1400 thru Bob Jane, fitted with tyres. So that price is kinda resonable. Cheers Reg
  9. Cheers Cuzzo. Reg
  10. hey cuzzo, so there is no modifications needed? thanks
  11. Hey mate, I find that Penrite HPR 30 does the job for me, I tried using the semi synthetic Penrite HPR 15 but was too thin. Hope this helps. Reg
  12. Yes :y: sorry Redwarf was tired :P Seeyas
  13. Hey all, I have a mildly worked 4K consisting of, -20" thou shaved head -double valve springs -292 degree cam, around 420" thou lift -quite a nice port job -2 inch exhaust with extractors now needing some carbies to open the cam up. Reg
  14. Yeah my KE35 leaks thru the front window rubber in the corner, the rubbers on these cars are probably original. Reg
  15. Thanks for the replys, First it does have extractors and a 2 inch system going through it. I should of noted that in the specs. I got the original carby reconditioned about 3 months ago, so I guess its just got the stock jets in it? And yes I do have a functioning PCV valve although the rubber bit that goes in the tappet cover is all broken could that make a difference? But it still seems to seal it? Thanks guys
  16. Hey guys, recently new to Rollaclub, I have a 77 KE35 with a worked 4K. Here are the specs, it has a -242 .050" thou lift 292 adv cam. -head shaved 20 thou -double valve springs -big port grind -ramflo air filter on the stock carby ( sad I know ) -extractors 2 inch system Now its quite lumpy on idle and upwards of 2,000rpm, if I let it idle it fuels itself up quite quickly, I haven't had it tuned yet to the cam, but I was wondering would going to a hotter plug help? Or is it just the stock carby? hoping to save a bit to get a redline sidedrought manifold. Any queries would be helpful. Thanks
  17. Hey mate I have a 35 with a white stripe that is identical to yours, will check it later and tell you the measurements. Reg
