I have a question, I have a 1.6l carb engine. Need more power but don't want to spend too much money. Could i get the engine pulled out and recond with new cam, webber and other stuff or put a twin cam in. Buget is about $2500

Nah, I got them from "the tire factory' can't do much more just yet. Gotta save some more cash. Spent about $1700 today.. :y: Next will be to lower it a few inches and get the suspension a bit harder :hmm:

GOT MY CAR ON THE ROAD TODAY!! I was like a kid on christmas morning today. Got up about 7am. Drove down to bayswater and got brand new 15" Mags and tires put on. Then I went to vicroads and got my new plates. Yay. Ill post new pics soon...

Looking at your youtube vids, nice work mate. That's one very quick rolla! Keep up the good work. Reminds me of a rolla i could of bought for $4000 about 2years. He had a VN 3.8L V6. It could do a mono 1 foot in the air. got sold 1 week before i knew it was for sale :hmm:

Got the rolla booked in today at vic roads for next week to get reg and new plates. Had to wait about 35mins on hold with my prepaid phone just to book it in and then they charged me $34.00 for a booking fee. WTF??

Replaced my spare wheel cover board in the boot by going down to "bunnings warehouse" and buying a sheet of 6mm MDF for $10 I used the old wheel cover board as a template over the new sheet of MDF, copied it and cut it out with a jig saw. Sanded the edges smooth and drilled new holes for the tool holder.

Got the car back today. Cost a bit but i am glad to see that green paper in my hand. :) Now just have to book it in to vic roads and get the reg. Here's some pics of the car getting work on it at the mechanics... :) Old engine mount vs new Worn out front brake hose Rocker cover off I got offered a set of 17inch wheels and tires, only a month old for $800!! :hmm: I really want to buy them but i'm not sure if they would rub on the guard or stick out too far on the sides. :hmm: I got my mechanic to put one on my car just to see how it looks. I could only try it on the car while it was on the hoist coz the wheel nuts didn't come with rims. (I would have to buy a set) :) I will keep you posted with more pics when more happens.. :yes: Johno

We are meeting in Lilydale Lake car park (MELWAY REF 38 G7) at 9am and heading off at 9:30am. We will drive to Noojee for a break then drive up to Mt Bonna Buang for BBQ lunch and group photos.
