  1. looks sweet as lowered like that. I done the same with one of my cars a few years back but I used ms paint. Wish you could get it that low in real life!
  2. looks great You sure get a better finish when you strip the car down to paint it. Much better than masking around window rubbers and shit like that.
  3. Yeah, a clutch.. the old one is getting worse. It started slipping on the lilydale cruise and now it's doing it more and more. It's like i'm riding the cluch but i'm not I can't get the pics up just yet, I lost the USB cable to my phone :lolcry:
  4. Got my double din touchscreen last week, put it in the rolla yesterday with the help of a good mate. Its wicked, i love it. i'll post pics soon..
  5. Hope everything is ok with your family. Will i be seeing you at cranbourne on 1st june for the celica cruise?
  6. I don't know where to post this and i don't want to start another thread so i thought i'll just put this here. I few years back i owned a 1985 toyota corona. It was the fastest car i have ever owned. Normally these corona's are a ST-141 but this model was a RT-142, looks the same as the ST but had a 2.4l multi point fuel injection. It was a sedan, 5speed man rear wheel drive. I never got it tested for power but it went very quick. Me and my mate tested it on a 1/4 mile and i got high 15's. I drove it down to philip island once and the speedo only goes to 180km/s per hour and i had the needle pointing right around back to 0km guessing i was doing 230km/perhour. Funny thing is i bought the car for only $2100 and i didn't do any mods on it. Not sure what was done on it, looked stock to me. I only had it for 12months because i was on my P's and being young i thrashed it everywhere. I blew 4 diffs and done the center bearings twice in 1 year and the diff was on it's way out for the 5th time when i sold it. I could have 4 people in the car and spin the wheels in second gear in the dry or put the car in 3gear and do donuts. Sold it for $200 to a guy i was living with. :) I only have one pic of it. I'll try and put it up soon
  7. Well the drought relief show relieved the drought a bit i guess, lol
  8. Love the new paint work man, looks shit hot!! New guards look great too. :) can't wait to see it cut and buffed...
  9. I would lend him the falcon but i like the little luxury's like keyless entry, cruise control, air bags, power windows, big sereo etc.. I had someone say to me last week "YOU don't NEED CRUISE CONTROL IN THIS COROLLA, YOU NEED HOON CONTROL" I thought it was funny as! I might lend the falcon to him on the weekends so i can do more work on the rolla. I'm hanging out to get my double din headunit delivered. Should be next week  I'm trying to google pics of the sr5 doortrims to get an idea of what they look like. I am not sure yet. I might just get some vinyl and wrap it over the 6 inch door pods. I'll let you know, cheers
  10. If your ordering more of these stickers, can i buy one please? I know that your not allowed to make your own stickers and i have full respect of that but if you could i like this design.
  11. Sadly as of tomorrow i wont have my corolla for a while :y: . A good mate of mine has come back from overseas and he needs a car so me being a good mate i have offered him my car till he can buy one. Should only be for a month or so...
  12. Thanks mate
  13. Nice work with the guard's, it's coming up really good. With your guard rubbing issue, do you roll the guard's first to try and fix this problem? Just asking because i have the same problem with mine.
  14. Saw this car when i was looking for pictures of custom boots for 86-87. Two things wrong here 1. it is not a 1987 corolla 2. look at his dyno sheet, isnt it measured by Revs P/M not seconds to see how much power you have? http://www.modifiedcars.com/cars/toyota/17111.htm
  15. At the moment in my falcon i have two 12" DVC Pioneer Subs, 800wrms @4ohm Z9000 amp 6.5" MTX Pro splits in front 6" 3 ways in the rear Motor flip down remote mp3 cd tuner 1200w 5 channel amp 4 gauge power cable cheap shitty speaker wire to splits Goes hard but i want more... So hence the rolla's stereo
  16. :poke:
  17. Yeah i know! Maybe i should put one of these in my boot.. :poke:
  18. Ok future plans for a stezza in the rolla... 7" double din dvd H U 6.5" JL Audio splits in front 6.5" Alpine 2ways in rear 16 gauge speaker cable to all speakers (hope it fits :D ) 4 gauge power cable from Batt 6gauge cable from amp to sub 560cca Battery Capacitor to Sub amp 2 Channel amp for subs (Haven't decided what brand yet) 4 Channel amp for speakers (Haven't decided what brand yet) Two 12" DVC (Dual Voice Coil) JBL subs Custom boot (I hope.. :poke: ) I have go no idea about custom boots, i'm worried about my spare tire and if i need to get to the tail lights (obviously I need to but how to get around it) or future repars on struts or anything like that... I'll have to do my homework about that first..
  19. Spotted this Corolla in Olinda, looks like it needs some TLC... :poke:

  23. I saw this car posted on another forum about 6 months ago and mate, can I say this is one of the coolest rolla's i have seen! :D I am glad you have joined ROLLACLUB and show us your car :no2: . I love everything you have done to it. It is partly the reason why i bought my car!! lol Great choice on the new leather seats by the way. Keep up the great work! Cheers, johno PS I wanted to tell you i think this car is HOT when i saw it but i couldn't coz i wasnt a member :poke:
  24. I thought they were another cheap gimmick but yes they are the shit up until last week i was using sissors or my teeth lol
  25. Heres a pic of my car after i got new struts and shockers put in. It sits a bit higher but handles heaps better on the road :D Put driving lights on last week just before the crusie but i didn't wire them up till yesterday I bought these lights about 3 years ago for a ea ford of mine and when i sold it the ford i took the lights off and put them away in a box for 2 years and now they are getting used again.. Thought i lost the wiring diagram but i found it after searching for it for about 3 days All the wires needed to make them work I bought these when i was in bayswater waiting for my struts to be put in These are the coolest invention ever!! It saves sooooo much time dashboard before and aftter its i bit on the cheap and nasty side but i was in a rush coz it started to rain and i don't have a garage :) I had to cut the bracket to fit my bumper, almost through the last cut then the bloody hacksaw blade broke and i didn't have a spare so down to the shop again.. Couldn't find a spare hole in the firewall so i used the speedo cable's hole to fit the wires through Had to get a rem wire to the switch so i tapped into the parker lights Relay and fuses in Running a wire from the parker lights direct to the driving light's parkers Ready to hookup and finish... All done!! When i turn on my parkers on the parkers on the driving lights come on too then i have the choice of turning my driving lights on or just running parkers while the main headlights are on. Sounds a bit confusing but pics always explain better..
