Nah the pin is straight just wont work and everythings connected and i didnt touch speedo :dance: argh everytime i do something another problems comes along haha

Got the clock out and the tacho in nicely just now my speedo wont work :dance: i put the cable back in and now the speedo wont work any ideas why it wouldnt be is the a special way to put it back in its in tight but wont work

Hey how do i get the speedo fuel gauge and all that away from dash? i can't seem to get it out when i undo the screws? and also how do i get the clock out of the cluster because i want to replace it with a tacho. any help would be appreciated cheers.

yeh how goods the results for paint rollers I'm swinging in that direction for my car now seems simpler then a spray gun haha

The post wasnt meant to come out as boasting and i ahve learnty my lesson. when i got caught speeding no one was on the road. I'm jsut saying i have learnt my lesson and have been driving sensibly lately cos ive realised how stupid it was. I was just asking if anyone else has had luck with there license's P.s please delte this thread as i have gotton the wrong feedback.

yeh i no the place the cop saw me was pretty stupid spot. but usually don't do it near where anyone can see me. I only ran because i didnt think they were undercovers i just thoguht they were just people on st that were going to chase me haha

ohh and forgot to add with sanding do i just lightly sand it down till the paints faded or is it best to get down to the bare steel? or only down to bare steel for the rusted bits?

Yeh ive decided to give it a go my self and just reasearch lots and maybe get some advice some people who have done it themelves when i get around to doin it. Just for now i have sanded down my bonnet and just about to prime it. i might just give that a gloss black job with spray cans now cos i can't be bothered because i will eventually sand the whole car. I was thinking green for a ke55? cheers for all the advice

Shit the paint jobs look decent on that website you wouldnt think they would do an alright job. Ive got spray gun and crap but no booth so i might try a panel with spray gun and one with roller see what goes alright.

umm 250 for the turbo and piping. Custom box was like 15 from u pull it and mate did all welding and prep for box for me for free and ke70 manifold was free so didnt cost me too much. Got bros old boostgauge, boost controller etc. Only thing ill have to buy is fuel piping and that. But so far has been pretty cheap

2 months disqualification aint bad do you ahve to go back to ure l's like in SA? i stupidly got caught in first week of p's doing 120 in a 60 zone and i forgot my lights were off:S Cop sed he was sitting behind me doin 115 and took him 130 to catch up and he sed just tell me what speed you were going and ill let you off nicely and i kept replying my lights were off and by what i know i was going 55 haha. In the end he said let me check your speedo to see if it work he worked up to dash and flashed light on it and said oh ok, how is he suppose to know if it works when cars stationery??? haha then the other cop said have you been drinking and was like nah and she said thats ok because if you said yes i would of breathod you. Stupids cops they ended up lettin me off with one demirit 202 dollar fine and warniongs for reckless driving no lights or indicator instead of 4 demirits for 60ks over the limit haha. Didnt even check my car for defects tyres were bald haha p.s and he also called my ke55 a shitbox:O i felt like saying took ure sweet time to catch up to me haha

ahh might give them a whirl. Mate sed he has got the thread out and is cleaning the thread and putting in a new vavle so hopefully will be a lot easier and wont snap haha. Sucks everyhting was going right putting the springs in then the bloody bleeder valve had to snap so i can't drive my car :fuzz: thanks for all the help people have given

Yeh ive doin it on a 4k, i could offer you some help on how to do it. Currently doing mine with a blow threw carbie set up which is a pain because i have to make custom box for carby but finally got it made up. Its the same setup as taz_rx's. Do you have the turbo? or looking to buy one?

haha I'm turboing my 4k its a lot of work to get it right, i think putting a 5k in would of been the better idea but hey I'm learning and be something different

haha yeh thats what i did to my old car i got for free sprayed it with spray cans and did it a chess board:D pity it caught on fire haha now its been crushed

Yeh mates gonna take it into work and get out the snapped bleeder valve and put new one in but ill try soaking it in brake fluid or wd40 cheers for the helps. tryed to drive it without bleeding the brakes haha bad idea handbrake still worked tho :fuzz:

Just finished putting in new springs on the front of my ke55 and when i was going to bleed the brakes on the calipers i broke the vavle to undo to bleed the brakes :fuzz: Is it suppose to be done that way to unscrew the vavle on the caliper? i got another front caliper but has the same problem the valve wont unscrew :@ any help thanks

sounds pretty easy was just checking before i started it and stuffed it up haha. yeh got the spring clamp things so should be easy and a air ratchet so piece of cake hopefully :sob:

Yeh the fun bit sanding it down(N) Fixed all the rust holes atleast and bogged and got that smooth

Hey just wondering i was going to sand back my ke55 and take panels off and spray them inside a shed. Has anyone done it themselves before is it easy or would it be better to get someone whos knows what there doin to do it?
