solexs off a 2l alfa alfetta. sucks the fuel big time

she goes like a rocket, they are solexs, 40mm, and the cam is a 275* tighe i think, comes on at 3000 rpm. its an instant way to fry clutches ill tell u :(

:) finally i gat my carbs on, the camshaft and heavy duty valve springs and extractors and zorst on. Sounds bloody awesome. Even convinced me mate with his 1jz cressida that old school is beta. :( anyways hope u all like

sweet fellers, ill check all of the above. the rear brakes i thought were ok, but on closer inspection may be shot. the handbrake isnt to crash hot either, that uses the normal rear brake shoes doesnt it. :harhar:

hey all. Was cruisin the other day when a volvo pulled out in front of me rolla :harhar: and i had to slam the brake pedal. Then the rolla veared very quikly to the right. (Only does it under heavy braking) Ive checked the pads and they are all within .5mm in thickness. the discs are good. And had the brakes bled. Is this a pressure problem all maybe wheel alignment? Ne help muchly appreciated. ;)

hey there, i;m just measured, i got 120mm between pedels halfway down accelerator, 30mm from top of acc to top of brake, and 110mm from acc to the plush pile :harhar:

I'm half way through planning such a conversion. I'm running twin 40mm solexs and a 4AGZE blower. Ive been advised to run no more than 7psi. Just got to get a intake fabricated up. hopefully it should pump out 150 hp.

Thanks folks, i got them for a hundred bucks off a guy who swap them for webbers, and the guy said they both gave the same hp. only about 5 ponies different. Gotta love the sound of twin carbies sucking their tits off.

Hey guys, names dylan, i just joined as I'm a corolla freak. Just drove to Brisbane from newcastle to buy a ke70 and drove it 800kms to get it home. She's immaculate with only 90,000 ks. I have twin 40mm solexs and was wondering if they fit onto "redlines" twin webber manifold. they look very similar. I'm keen to buy it and hook up. thanks for any help.
