Plans that I have (and most of this I have already purchased)...
- Airbag suspension
- 4 link rear
- BIG Hoosier rear rubber
- Steeled out interior

- Two tone paint
- Twin turbo 302
The day I bought it :wtf:
A week later I got some cheapo riiiims... :)

Hey guys...
There hasnt been any real updates since the last time I was on here :)
Just waiting on more shit to be fabbed/trimmed so I can get back into it!
But should be more progress next week :lmao:
Trev, here are some pics of my other cars!
This is my fully restored 1959 Dodge Custom Royal:
- 360cuin V8
- Push button auto (727 Torqueflight)
- Completely detailed undercarriage
- Detailed engine bay
- Origional interior (in very good condition)
- etc... etc... etc...
-
Thanks Moe. They are very good prices, you wernt kidding, lol!
Looks shit hot too. The kit that i bought has been a right pain in the ass. And the fake anodised ends don't fit on when the hose clamps are on.
Yeah man haha I have the same issue with the fake anodised ends as well :lmao:
I ended up chucking mine all over the backyard in frustration!
The Pacific Hoseflex ones use the proper fittings and the briaded hose is really good quality too! :wtf:
Lovin' the vid man
Might have to do one myself!
Moe :)

Hey man!
that gearbox is really looking the goods :y:
can't wait to see that engine bay finished!
In regards to that braided sleeve you have bought (I have tried to use it and = ;) lol) , I thought Id give you the link for the braided hose I used on Rolla Bus :bash:
http://www.hoseflex.com.au/customautolines/
Very very very good prices, and a 5 day delivery time!!! (from QLD to TAS)!
You can buy all the fittings etc there as well :bash:
thought it may come in handy!
Cheers, Moe

Hey mate...
Looking good buddy!
Regarding your cam covers, a mate of mine painted his in normal 2pack about 3 years ago and its holding up fine!
So you should be able to get away with it without having to use high temp paint :bash:
Keep us updated, Moe
-
Hey Jip!
Have you got me down for 5?
Ill get the $$$ deposited asap!
-
HELL YEAH :hmm:
Nice work Johno :P
Keep the pics coming...
Bit of a race to see who can get their ae82 on the road first
-
Hey mate...
I may know of a full T18 shell that will be going to the crusher in a month or so if you are interested?!?!
don't think he wants anything for it either!
-
Id be betting they would be similar...
As I think the only real difference between the two chargers are the length?!?!
-
I'm going to grab 5 or so now
-
Wpw dude
can't wait to see some shots of her out in the sun!

Hey guys...
The plastic welder came over this morning and dropped off my rear bar... which got modded... again :P
I'm very happy how it has come out this time... lines up VERY well!
The pics below are just before we took it off again, but as you can see, massive improvement to how it was :jamie:
I have dropped them off to Highway Crash Repairs and will be blocked back today, sprayed tomorrow, pick up Wednesday morning (then go to work), and have a nice late night getting it fitted so I can get the pics for JiP :D
Cheers, Moe

Small update:
Plastic welder came today and had a look at the bar...
...will be giving it back to me on Monday completed and fitting correctly! :jamie:
-
Nar it isnt twisted at all dude...
The boot isnt on properly because i have to get underneath airbrushed yet!
And all ae82 rear bumpers 'sag' a little in the corners!
Its just the corners near the wheel arches that arent right...
-
Hey guys...
Woke up this morning excited because I knew my bars were going to be sprayed this arvo!
BUT...
Something told me to get the rear bar and just double check that it fitted/lined up right...
WRONG!
As you can see from the below pics, from where we plastic welded the corners of the front bar on the rear, they don't 100% line up :)
The plastic welder guy is going to be coming to my place this Thursday to fix them and then Friday the rear bar will be sprayed with front bar, handles and mirrors ready for pick up on Saturday!
Passenger side:
*too short*
Drivers side:
*too long*
But other than that, I'm very happy how the bar has turned out and should look sweet once its fixed and painted :)
Heres a few random pics:
More pics will come end of the week :(
Fingers crossed the duco will be finished so I can concentrate on the interior!
Cheers, Moe

Good news:
