  1. Everything off the front. Took all the wheels off and put the car up on stands
  2. Over the last 2 days i've done some more stuff, Got all the trim off, all in one piece aswell as those grill/fin thingos on the back. My dog decided he would help.
  3. Car project finally started, the rubber seals around the tailights fell to pieces and my dog thought they were delish. The high-light of my day lol.
  4. Yay stuffs happening. :P Got the garage, weatherproofed it and stuff. Then today... on the 17th of march... The Project finally started, on Saint Patricks day too! :( removed pretty much everything on the back and organised the bits in bags and stuff, took photos to remind me where stuff goes when i put it all back together. I did it on my own, yeeeeeeaaaaah boiii! and my old man helped me with a few tricky bits. BEFORE: AFTER: Now i have to go do my english homework... will update soonish. Thanks! edit: pretty much i will be dismantling it with help from my dad, restoring panel by panel, then the shell, paint it a nice colour (havent chosen yet, mebbeh gun metal or silver or something shiny?), fix up the interior, fix up trim-shiny-little-bits-and-pieces and mebbeh some day i'll put some nice gadgets and soooop-up the engine.
  5. Read in the paper that they think the toll might rise to 230 deaths. Hopefully it doesn't. What we don't need is more grief.
  6. My computer just glitched and decided it would take 466317 days and 13 hours to move 179 files... but it was moving them at a normal speed. :D
  7. My old man got another subaru, he missed his old L series and hes always wanted a brumby. Been a while since i've gone 4x4ing in one, can't wait to go on a trip in it instead of a Prado... They're too easy going up hillclimbs. :D
  8. My webbed toes... 1 in every 2000-2500 people have them
  9. Wow, lucky you man! Those are some schmick cars, i haven't seen a TE 71 that clean before! :jamie:
  10. HAGGLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :jamie:  :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: i want to skin "haggle boy" alive.
  11. Also i forgot to put in: Locator dimensions are: Outside diametre 77mm Inside diametre 60mm Sorry my mistake. and the local wheel shops we all checked only make up to 73mm on the outside so no luck so far. :P
  12. OK, i have some new rims and the stud pattern is fine, BUT the hub center thing is bigger on the rims are bigger then what is on the car and i would need a 17mm locator to fill in the gap. What i would like to know is that: Is it alright just to let the rim sit on the studs or does it need the hub thing to rest on as well? Is it legal to do that? Would i need to get the locator machined? and where? If not, where can i find them? Over all if just letting it sit on the studs is ok and wont do it any harm is what i really want to know. Thanks. :P I'll answer any questions if i can.
  13. found em. tomorrow we're gonna see what they look like on the car(still without tyres.) Doesn't look as good in the photo with the caps on.
  14. OK then, its been a while but at least somethings happened recently. Some new rims off of eBay for $100 they have a bit of crap on them, but i think we're gonna get them sandblasted or something then paint the spoke-things. Not sure what colour we're gonna paint it, but i'm thinking of painting the rims goldish and the car black? Anyway heres a pic. (Might get some of the whole set and the inner hubcap things.)
