g,day again, yeah they are series 1 calipers/disks unfotunetly,i just measured them. so whats the difference in the calipers between stock ae-92 and series 1 & 2 calipers ?? bigger,better griping power ?? and the disks would be larger diam as well yeah ?? cheers glen

hi again guys, i brought kindly from sam member here a disk brake rear end and front disk brake end and front sway bar of a twin cam 4a-ge sx model hatch. i have a ae-92 sedan that has drum brakes on rear and soon will swap over to the disk brake rear end. here is my questions, where is best place to jack front and rear of car so i can swap brake calipers/rotors over and put front sway bar on ?? any tips on how to go about removing what first ?? also do sx model twin cam rollas have larger front calipers than your standard ae-92 vechile ??, they sure look stronger/larger and have better gripping power. theses front brakes i got have vented rotors also iv noticed which is as plus !! the disk brake rear end should be a improvement over drums brake shouldnt it as far as braking is concerned ?? thanks glen

r.e brisbane motor imports, looks like the prices have gone up since, $1,750 for silver top and $ 2,200 for black top. but any way still cheaper than www.japparts.com.au ( rollin automotive imports ) which have silver top for $2,100 and black top for $2,500 !! cheers glen

hi there guys, hope you all had a great x-mas. ok,any way I'm just asking around and curious to see how many of you and which members here have ae-92 model rollas ?? i have a emerald metailic green ae-92 ,94csi 5 speed that I'm currently doing up and i would like to catch up and go on a cruise with some of you that as the same car thats all. so far iv fitted 17" lenso white 5 spoke rims,lowered compressed coils,2/1/4" mandrel full exh,extractors,tinted windows,custom plates "TOY CSI ",sports steering wheel,halogen globes,tinted rear tail lights,clear side guard blinkers,debadged,de plastic side stripped it,bonnet scoop,shortned quick shift gear stick mod,white line rear sway bar,and strut brace,wholf whistle,removeable sunroof,color coded mirrors,rear spoiler,lipped rear guards,cd/stero upgrade,cold air intake mod with uni pod filter under left hand front guard area. next years mods are disk brake rear end,front sx sway bar,20 v silver top eng conversion,1/2 roll bar,race bucket seats,slotted/vented disk rotors,good pads,alarm,bonnet air vents,after market door side mirrors from ssv.com.au I'm from dandenong s.e melb ,vic. hope to hear from some of you. cheers glen 0405 801 586 [email protected]

ok then,i had one of those flimsy week piece of shit braces in the second picture that i brought for $50 from toyospares and i threw it out. it was thin and crap and bends far to easy. may be i could mod my white line to also fit to the fire wall then for that extra bracing. cheers glen

hi redwarf, thanks for the reply. so you don't know the answer to my question then?? i do bite the bullet and spend money and have been spending money in the past 6 weeks on the car. white line says there is no sway bar for ae92 as they never came with a sway bar on them from factory so i thought i may be able to adapt a second hand sway bar of some thing else you see!! a don't see why a strut brace wouldnt work,it still braces the front end some way or another. thanks glen

hi johno, i have a 94 csi and i fitted a cold air set up just recently. i brought from auto barn the ribbed plastic stretchy hose,two size coupler,uni filter. i removed blk plastic box fitted under lhs splash guard/mudguard,ran pipe from t/b to hole already cut from factory and fitted uni filter under there. grabs heaps of cold air there. much better than having pod in hot engine bay cheers glen

hi guys, how are ya hope all is well with you. i have 4afe 1.6 twin cam with 5 speed in my 94 rolla. which from i seen and heard on here are not much good at all. recently iv just fiited a 2/1/4" mandrel bend,extractors,high flow cat,magnaflow rear muffler,cold air intake with uni filter fitted under lhs front guard/splash panel. i have the chance to buy a 4age quad throttle body maifold inake for $ 300 and was wandering if it is possible to some how mod/fit this to my 4afe engine please ? is it worth while doing?? any one done this here?? can you buy conversion adaptor t/b manfild plates to fit a 4age quad t/b to 4afe engine?? i know the 4age engine is much better,more valves,variable cam timing,better head design,bigger cams e.c.t but ididnt want to have to spend another $3,500 to get one fitted. also i was wandering if i could buy some 7afe cams and get them reground to a lager profile ?? any ideas guys please?? cheers glen
