Yeah if Its the same clutter of brazed pipes I'm thinking then yes, it's open on mine too. I went around to every pipe with my tounge to feel for suction but nothing ecept dizzy and actutor. Mine has no choke. I removed the butterfly from it because it doesn't get cold and still starts first time everyttime. Thanks for your insight Ben :D your a champ and I love the ae92, good work!

Bought some tie rods and now after Brisbane it's back to saving for me. Stood on a 4 inch nail today at work :D I did not know such blood could be produced from a punture! Wowzer it scared me haha! What's next with the car... Bushes I think, my fourlink is pissing me off. I fixxed my vaccumm leak on the carby... Well it was that front actuator on the carby.. So I took the vaccumm from the manifold and plugged it in. Sweet! I check all the vaccumm hoses before hand and they didn't have any vaccumm. So someones already disconected the emissions I guess and they have run a t-piece to the dizzy. So all the vaccumm it has is the front actuator and the dizzy. Schveet! I adjusted the valve clearances twice with a friend and timed the dizzy by ear... Whoever had tuned it prior to me had it WAY out. Like way out! It now purrs and revs free-er. I need a new air filter aswel and a new fuel filter aswell as buy clutch master and slave and fit new tierods and get a well deserved wheel alignment! I'd get some pics but I don't have a comp. There are a lot of and's in the last paragraph.

Corolla is in need of new tierods. Dunno wether to replace them with ae71 items or are there ones from a different car that are stronger, shorter, longer etc etc. That will enhance performance. Keeping in mind I'm building up my ae86 struts soon so yeah...

New ones in and it let's the car do a good skid. I'd like to thank donald from cairns brake and clutch. F'ing ledgend! We go it out and in, in a Couple of hours. New spigot, thrust, rear main, gear box oil, motor service and carby clean. Bloody stoked, it Feels so good!

Put a new water pump in yesterday. Lovely! I love working on these cars, they're so simple :)

Got my clutch kit today, also ordered a water Pump and all I need now are fly wheel bolts and a rear main seal. Anyone know of what bolts I can use for the flywheel? Our local autoshop can't source any!!!!

Yeah? It should just slide out of the anchorman or pitman whatever it's called.... I'm just scared to damage it because I don't want to replce them .

Yeah I was hitting the threaded end with the nut on. I would have hit the rod but I don't want to de-couple the little ball joint. I would hit it if I had replacement arms going on there but I don't yet haha. So I'm gonna soak it for a few days with WD40 and hope that it works.

I was hitting the little ball joint at the end of the steering arm but I also had the nut on there.... I was smashing the snot out of it with a 2lb hammer and it didn't budge!

Ordered an excedy clutch today, noting fancy... Got me hubs apart and hit the bearings with carby cleaner and then packed them back up and adjusted the play accordingly. Bought a Bosch GT40 coil and the engine seems to run better ... I tryed to replace the rack boots but I couldn't get the tie rod out of the ankerman arms... Didn't have any crc though :(.... I'm so devistated about that... Because the boots are torn and I couldn't change them.... Gosh.

Got me new tyres and they are shocking compared to the grid II's I had on the front. Got that water pump and got pissed around, it's a front wheel drive one. I just put the old one back on... So it's still leaking like a whore. I bought some universal steering rack boots from super cheap so I'll put them on this weekend.... Might also clean and re-pack my front hub bearings. I went to call an auto store today to price a clutch kit for the 4ac and no one friggen picked up. I also can't seem to pay techno toy tuning through paypal...! Anyone wish to share how they paid??? I need my shiz! Same with waiting fort LED lights from china, it's taking too long :(

Just put an order into T3 yesterday for the prothane bush kit and a rose joint panhard... Also seriously contemplating buying a go pro haha... And some new tyres today maybe...

Haven't been upto much here haha, I have ripped off the bump strips but still have the foam sticky stuff on there, sanded back the sudace rust again and hit it with rust converter and primer, welding it soon... Wouldn't mind a hand. Water pump gasket shat itself on Tuesday so I have bought a new pump. I was Going to buy a kouki diff but someone else bought it... I am going to get a clutch soon and my four link is farked so I'm getting some nice rose joint bits. I am getting some new tyres soon, cheap and good, any suggestions? On the look out for some cheap 7.5j rims for the front and Some jdm 86 brakes or something....

Nice ae93. I really like the look of the lift back design but I've never been in one and driven one. There is one near my work that looks so sexy! I love to look at it haha, have fun with your corolla!

Nice barra Gav. I haven't been up cape yet... How's that engine transplant coming along? Probably under way since your asking about clutch masters and slaves. I wouldn't mind coming to check this think out soon aye. I have to get a new diff and clutch and bushings very soon :D

What's the progress with this beast

Yeah bugger!!! I had heard about the MPS cruise the other day... But I had a few drinks lastnight and forgot about it thismorning :( I went to the downhill today instead... I would have rathered to cruise more than DH. Ahhh well mate. I'm sure we will cruise soon.
