hey guys was talking with a good mate of mine Madke35coupe and this disscussion has been brought up by other members in the past but really keen to work something out for the AJD days and the downshift meets that RC members attend so i have taken the liberty to contact a company that makes personalised shirts and getting a qoute on how much it will cost per shirt for people that are keen , this is only if the quote is workable so just wanting peoples reactions the basic idea is that i will get plain coloured shirts made with the RC logo on them once i try and work something out i will start working with a moderator preheaps to work out ordering and distrubing around the rest of oz atm its going to be local till i can sort it all out it either will happen or not let me know what you guys think

well decided to create a thread just purely for downshift meets and get heaps of people out there and get some photos taken and posted went to my first on this year and was pretty good i know Reed is keen on things like this

also had to install a new clutch late last year as well as a pic of the old clutch and pressure plate

cheers trev ,just now need a new left hand mirror as i have broken the one in the pic then i can paint both and have them matching the car lol

so guys since my last update i have since replaced both front and rear suspension as well as got rid of the awful looking black 17inch wheels that i didnt like much and brought some 16 inch EL XR6 factory alloys also know as FTR's and got tires put on them at tax time and put them on the car even put a bigger 30mm sway bar in the front end then decided to chase down the EL Xr6 front for the twin light conversion which meant bar, bonnet , headlights and indicators and to paint them the same colour as the car which i painted myself and iam happy with how the car is more recently i have changed the whole diff from factory 3.23 diff to 3.45 LSD and replaced all the trailing arm bushes and sway link and sway bar bushes as well

so today i gave this thing some love and attention first was new oil and oil filter which it loves and then took it to the downshift meet where i ran into a few members from here there so can't wait to paint this car

definitly a nomination for Car of the Year 2013 this has had heaps of time and effort put into it and after meeting terry a few months back can say its well worth it great job mate

yea guys things are just around the corner and my rolla will be there hoping with some colour on it by then

so bit of a update for the start of 2013 as in 2012 not much happened to this car its basically was prepped for paint and still in the primer stage atm so plans are to finially get some paint on this thing and really put some effort into the car to drive it more on the weekends and get the wheels i have for it on the car which should make it look awsome hopefully this year my rolla will look good and shall be there at the all jap day not sure if it will still be primer or painted as i think i have the week off leading into AJD just depends weather i can pull it off

like the thermo fan upgrade on this gav well done its something i want to do to the 55

mate iam hoping to have the rolla painted and on its wheels by then

well if its saturday can't make it which is F**CKING GAY GOT TO WORK sorry boys if it was a sunday then yeah definitly would even bring the rolla out for the first time in a long time

people from here don't often go there as much as they did most people are busy or don't own corollas or if they do its a matter of being to far away i go there sometimes but i don't drive my rolla there

okay people i need to get definite confirmed people for attendance to this function as i need to make a booking by the end of the week

well date is now confirmed its the 10th of November and just need to work out a time to arrive was think that arrive around 5:30 to 6:00pm and then head up there will look at booking it within the next week so i will be asking for confirmed numbers of people and if you have any partners that you are bringing etc

so guys nearly time to set the date and the 10th of november is the most likely date that it will be going to seriously start booking the tables so in the next day or 2 the date will be confirmed

yea reed was there last 2 weeks ago and the ra60 was still there not sure what is left of it
