hey guys I'm looking at bringing a ke10 i found in victoria into south australia. I know there is a lot of ke1x fans out there so I'm sure someone can help me with the following question! the car originally had a K engine but that blew and has now been replaced with a 3K, i was wondering if when bringing the car into the state whether they will except the 3k engine number with the ke10 rego?? any advise would be great and i apologise if the question is stupid or doesnt make sense!

yeah one of my good mates is close to the dude that owned this car and the story goes that, the car had just been completed and it was rolled out of his shed in the middle of the night! and apparently not tryin to spread rumours not many people knew of this cars build until it had been completed! corrrect me if I'm wrong 'high rpm'. cheers tom

hey dude, gotta say this is definitely up there with my favourite corolla's of all time, and still looks good even as a sleeper! would love to ride in this thing one day but thats just a dream :thumbsup: my mate is about to put his ke25 into get all the body work done and then as soon as this is done he is gonna begin putting a rotary in it so I'm sure if you don't mind some questions may be asked! cheers tom

yeah i was thinking about the not buying factor haha, but its one bad rust spot and the other ones are just bubbles coming through the paint which I'm hoping are just surface rust underneath! and yeah i have a mate thats a panel beater but only being 19 i don't know heaps of people to ask so its a bit of a siuation unless i pay someone!

ps. in south australia!

has anyone had any success with panel beaters that repair rust, for a good price, just wondering of any places in particular that people have had success with!! any help is appreciated :P

well it seems that everyone is keen on the orig colours so ill seriously consider it if anyone has any ideas of which colours in particular feel free to post any pics or anythign that shows the colours, and yeah that was the plan to have round ones, but cheers for the heads up mate haha

hey people well I'm looking at getting a ke11 and getting it resprayed and getting some nice jap style wheels, something along the lines of mr johns orange ke11! but the reason I'm posting this thread is for some ideas of possible colours for when i get it resprayed and what wheels everyone reckons would be good, although i have my own ideas i like to see things from other perspectives as it might change my mind! let me know ur ideas guys :jamie:
