wow thanks for all the feedback everyone but i found a 1991 hilux with a 3L in it only done 120000 kms for a good price so I'm gonna rep that with slowness for a while and then turbo it later down the track once i got more cash coming my way! thanks again

exactly what i thought well i guess that solves my problem to diesel i go! haha anyone know how the 2.8L diesels go (non turbo) i couldnt imagine they would be much slower than a stock corolla?

hey guys well I'm looking at buying a hilux 4x4 for daily duties and for offroad on weekends and 4x4 trips and all that. I'm wondering from peoples history how the 4 cyl. petrol engines go offroad or whether the diesels are really worth the extra money? also how dual fuel LPG ranks in all this? any advise is great just i wanna get me rolla off the road so i can work on it :(

ok exciting news saw an absolutely overrated dark orange ke20 today just near the port road grand junction intersection towards the beach AND was being driven by what i believe was an elderly lady shiny paint and shiny original hubcaps i wanted to chase her but was in a work car :(

alright guys so i have a ke20 with a 5k! and I'm having a problem of burning out the points and it is throwing the timing out of wack! its been tested and the alternator is charging the battery at 16.8V? ive been told there is a way to adjust the alternator has anyone done this and can they give me some help? I want to get it fixed so i don't keep burning out points so any advice would be awesome :)

just a heads up theres a wanted to buy section on the for sales because this thread will probably get closed!

i totally agree with what Felix said! i reckon that looks awesome but as others have said you do have a keen eye for cars and I have no doubt it would look awesome! but DEFINITELY +1 on the 15x10 an flares :lol:

saw what i think was a ke30 yellow one just off winston avenue, as well as i THINK RA28GT's old 929 wagon but could be wrong AND a green cortina all at the same house! awesome bunch of cars :lol:
