Hey everyone, just a bit of a update with the hot weather and working lots i havn't had much time to work on my car but since i last updated i bought a 4k motor and a manual pedal box.. so i have ripped out the 3k + auto box and am currently looking for a 4/5 speed gear box to put in with it :no2: so very soon will be 4k 4/5 speed :) Cheers -=KE30=- Josh

thanks mate.. after a quick look at the way the master cylinder was put back together. piston 2 was put in backwards :) thank you for your help bled the brakes again and are hard as anything woopie :)

Hey everyone.. recently i have been having problems with my break system with the pedal been soft and very crap breaking.. I bled the brakes helped a little bit but they have gone soft and when you push the pedal it goes to the floor but if u lift your foot and place on the brakes again they work but not very well.. I replaced the seals in the master cylinder thinking it could be that today have gone to bleed them but the fluid is getting sucked in and pumping straight into the reservoir.. :( what the? whats going on :) Any help would be greatly appriciated done a bit of a search on the net but not to sure thanks -=KE30=- Josh

haha when i bought my rolla, i scored a full sid chrome spanner set hidden away in the side of the boot :( someone would be hating life loosing that haha :sob: :P

Hey everyone.. not much has happened since i last updated.. car has been at the mechanics having the carby rebuilt and also having a new exhaust gasket put on.. also got a new muffler. its a hi flo muffler with a dumpy tip looks the part and sounds great :bash: cheers Josh -=KE30=-

hey all, bit of an update... car has been leaking trans fluid from around the trans sump so ripped the sump out and found the gasket was oil soaked the whole way through so pulled that out and tracked down a new one.. all back together with new trans fluid.. loving it- no leaks wooo that's about it for now :hmm: -=KE30=-

Hey everyone, my names Josh and this is my 1976 KE30 Corolla. Been a member here a little while so i thought id post up my pride and joy.. I've had the car for almost 3 months now. Standard 3k i havnt changed much at all really just full service, changed water pump, new front brake pads and rebuilt alternator. Not to sure what i want to do with her yet but am trying to get some goodies together to start a manual conversion. Hey guys.. recently bought a 76' ke30 and have had it about a month.. recently noticed alot of crap coming out the exhaust when left to idle and a little rev and what looks to be water/petrol mixed with black/oil sort of stuff left on the floor i have a photo to try and explain it better.. anyway what I'm asking is why is this happening? any help will be greatly appreciated Thanks heaps Josh -=KE30=-
