Hey All, I am a newbie here. Just come over from datsun1200.com. I have just purchased a T18. L3T, T20. I was wandering what if any motor swap outs(non turbo) can be made easily. I was just toying with the idea of a few more ponies than the stock 1800cc unit or may be some easy mods to the stock unit. This is the first Toyota that I have ever owned that wasn't covered by a service and warranty plan. My daily is a 2008 Aurion SV6. Plain Jane white sportivo package that goes like a rat up a drainpipe. Sure as hell give the lads in their XR6's and SS's a bit of a hurry up :) . Back to my new project- I will be looking for some alloy rims ex factory preferred plus some trim bits ect. I suppose my bigest question is, Do I need to know about any nasty habits the old girl my have or devlope that will cause me any pain, suffering or sleepless nights. Hey Matt, The extra leaf is one way to go. Lowering blocks are not my favourite. Find your self a good springmaker. They will be able to set your car up how you want it. There is a little more involved than just the extra leaf, you will need to consider what you want out of the car, in effect matching the car to the purpose, also what effect the modification will have on you and your cars components. You can go to stiff(a good thing if you are with your girl) and create more problems. Hi all, New on this forum. I am looking for some close up pics of spoilers or duck tails on Datsun 1200 coupes. I have one ex 200B and I will have to do a remodel job. I am looking for some ideas on shape for the top of the rear quarters. Please email me if you can help. I saw a pic of one here, a red/white job with the #110 on the side. That is the sort of thing that I am looking for. All help is greatly appreciated.
