  1. Ok! Just aquired a KE70 Sedan 1600 HICAM Auto. Was only getting car for the rims but apparently it has a good motor ect. Now will that transplant into KE38 Wagon without any issues? I have KE55 Auto sedan on its way for same purpose. I know zip about what fits what with Corolla (ex Datsun :( ). (This is why I love my Aurions I don't have to work on them. Got 2 now  2009 sv6, 2010 sv6 :D ) Also I have TD04 Turbo off my wrecked Volvo, are manifolds to suit corolla available? Not sure what to do with it. Will have to see how hard to setup on carby.
  2. Would you be interested in another T18? Drive train is in very good order goes real well. The body is clean and just about ready for primer. Interior will need some work but is still quite serviceable. Looking at $1k obo. For $1500 I'll drive it to Bris. Car is located in western Qld. Call Peter on 0427 138 266 or 4654 7907.
  3. :) Or I anit so smarts coz I borts a nuver VOLVO tomorra. 740Turbo Wagon ex con in and out. Good motor bad box. Aw71 auto lost oil and blew up. Payed $100 for it and am ordering another box up from Capalaba tomorrow($650). Not bad buy for under a grand! ;) Wonder if the T50 out of the T18 would fit up easily enough. May ring Mal Woods in Warwick.
  4. Seems to be working now! Must be my box. Need a new one.

  8. The bar is gone! My son is out there in the heat, as I sit in here in the aircon removing it and the other one is rubbing down the T18. Gotta have the T18 painted and sold by new year or the domestic godess will nail certain parts of me to the shed door!!!
  9. Just thought I would intro the Family. The youngest 2008 Aurion Sportivo SX6 The 80mod T18 you've meet, getting ready for paint this week and then for sale. The newest addition 79mod KE38 Wagon one owner deceased estate. 97000 klms all service books upto date. $1200. This little KE 38 is a ripper should be registered by Friday. Nothing to do to it. Even the original radio and tape deck still work fine. A wash and polish wouldn't go a stray though. The collection is growing! Loosing the roo bar!
  10. MONZOTA TRANS 18 SHIZBX UGLY DIFRNT WATDA Can't use PhotoShop Don't think it is installed on my machine. No cutting of original panels or components. Front being made of Auminium and Fibreglass composite and being attached primarily with Turret Adhesive. The rest is just a case of blending in with Re-enforced filler. I have a friend that cut his teeth on euro exotic sports, Le Manns cars ect. Ferarri, Lola, Porshe, GT 40, BRM that sort of thing and he has offered me all the help I need. I have to deal with the dept of transport first but that looks that it could be ok because of the age of the car and the design of the nose. It is designed to fold back to the cars original frame so as not to change the impact absorbsion features greatly. Well we will see how we go. If it can't be done, the car will be back to granny spec by Christmass. Cheers Guys and thanks for the input. OH! I was one of those old blokes from the 70's with the XB Falcon and the Concord Kit. Wish I had a Photo of that. Peter
  11. Maybe the Dozer squared it up a bit and I didn't have me specs on!
  12. Mock Up of new front for T18. Would like your input. Looking for reto 80's ugly custom. colour will be Toyota White, Soft Grey acsents with light fleck overcoat.
  13. Got a pic. It is a kE55 Friend got it for a 6pack and by the pic you'll see why.
  14. Hey all, There is a Corolla at our local dump/wreackers. Running gear still intact. I don't know one from the other. Square shape, front a bit like my T18, 5speed badge on the boot lid. I was having a quick look and I think it had Ae66 or somthing like that on the comp plate. Body is totaled. I can get the mechanicals for a dozen stubbies. Do you think it would be worth the trouble. It was driven in there and just parked up but our dumpie gets a bit excited when moving cars the with a dozer.
  15. Painting the nuts is ok but the thinners burns a bit!!
  16. I came up with the same infomation but it took some effort. I found through a contact in the US that the chemicial company W.R Grace & Co also made automotive rubber products and rims. They are no longer in existance. Thanks for all your effort, I really appreciate it. Cheers.
  17. Hey All, Picked up some wire wheels the other day for the right price(FREE!!) but I am having some trouble identifiying their fitment vehicle. Just wondering if anyone can give me a hand or point me to someone that can. Specs: Chrome Finish 14X7-72 Spoke 4X120mm(4.75") pcd 75mm(3.00") B/S -12.5(0.50") O/S Stamped W.R. Grace & Co. 1974 I looked them up and only found reference to an US Chemicial company that was being sued and bankrupted. Thanks for any help. Cheers, Peter.
  18. Our Story. A couple of week back I purchased this T18 for a few hundred dollars. Pulled her from a shed where she has been hibernating for the past 2-3 years. Gave her some fuel, fitted a battery and away she went first crank(electric fuel pumps are handy) into gear and off she went with no hassles. As the photo atest she is no "Belle of the Ball". I am hoping to pull off a "Cinderella" type deal. As you can see she is a granny spec T18, L3TC/T50. On completion it will esentially still be granny spec as this car is for my kids not me. I will be keeping the original plant as it runs really well. The rest of the drive train is also performing as it should. The down side is of course the body. Although free of rust, one of the benifits of the Western Queensland climate, the rear quarter, interior and the overall finish need some serious attention. She has already cost me $1500, the fine for driving an unregistered/uninssured car on the road. I picked it up two blocks away from home and just my luck, just as I was turning into my driveway one of our over-zealous new constables noticed no plate and no label. It Happens! I have posted a couple of pics just so you can see what I have. I recon that I didn't do to bad with this purchase. I hope to have her on the road by Christmass. My plan for the paint is just plain Toyota White with a Dove Grey accsent while trying to keep the interior the stock Blue. Maybe a set or rims. I have a set of 13X6's ex Datsun. The PCD is right but I will have to measure the offset and back space just to make sure I don't run foul. The only photos I have were taken at night. It Looks worse in the daylight but hopefully not for long. I imagine that I will be posting here a bit while hunting for parts. Cheers All, Peter.
  19. Thank you all. Starting over sounds like a good idea. I'll get some more pics and post something more suitable. Cheers, Peter. :jamie:
  20. To all the Members, Please accept my most sincere appoligies for my out burst on this site. There is no excuse for my action. To use languge like that and to wish missfortune on anyone is not me. I was not well and loaded up on pain killers. An unfortunate sideffect of my medication. This is not an excuse just an explanation. It still does not negate my actions or in anyway exonerate me from the consequences. If you wish to delete all my posts, login, profile and ban me from this site I would understand and accept your decision. Yours most sincerely, DattoFrog.
  21. All the Pics are about is to give members a look at my project which I will probley need help finishing. While I was doing up my Datsun 1200 Coupe I found that the members at my datsun forum were really helpful and non judgemental, all were welcome. I am not getting the same feeling here. Just for a moment I thought I was reading replies from halfwit inbreds not Toyota enthusists. I am sure I am wrong. If I wasn't, then F#@$ You! Dropkick F#@$*?& P$#@ks. ARSEHOLES! A ROAD DEATH CURSE ON YOU! :)
  22. Take it from a retired springmaker; Cutting springs and flipping leaves, well it is just plain STUPID and DANGEROUS!! I can't figure why you young blokes still continue with this practise. Save up the pennies. Spring sets and resetting aren't that expensive. For Christ sake THINK!!
  23. I got aset of rims that are simular to those but not 2piece. 13x6 thinking about fitting to T18 if pcd is same these are ex Datsun.
