  1. Massive thread revival here.... Anybody have any experience with Weber specialist in Sydney region? I suffer like many weber users the infamous flat spot on the transition from idle to main circuit. I have read a lot of info from Keith Franck's Yahoo group Sidedraft Central, including his "White Paper", and see a lot of guys praising his tuning methods as well as his custom emulsion tubes and idle jets, see here for example. I'm looking for a Weber whisperer in Sydney!
  2. Yeah people have put the ae86 power steering rack before, but the spline where the steering column goes onto the rack is different. I remember seeing a pic of one i think on ae86dc cheers
  3. yeh, I'm not sure about the front, as there are very limited options with the stock struts. you could use the commodore wagon ones in the rear though. About $60 each?? part number KYB-343113.
  4. look in the sales section mate. you should search before just posting, they are not hard to find.
  5. There is definately a noticable difference in support i.e. ae86 is better, but the main reason is because it drops the seat a significant amount (i would guess at least 50mm), so my knees no longer hit the steering wheel!!!
  6. Well, i bought an ADM ae86 driver seat, and it fits, however it was a bit of work to try to bolt it in especially on the front right side so i don't think the mounts are exactly the same, but close enought that if force it, the holes will line up. Also, the plastic cover on the bottom right hand side that covers all the recliner gear rubs up hard against the side of the car i.e. the ae86 seat is about half an inch too wide at the back. I think if i take the cover off it will be alright.... hopefully! Cheers
  7. Thanks for all the replys. I'm picking up the superlows this arvo! Once i get some new shocks etc, i will be sure to post some pic's up, so this will hopefully help everyone else who is wondering which option to choose. Hopefully that will be sooner rather than later!! Cheers
  8. Hey everyone, ive been looking for examples everwhere with not much luck, but I'm just after some photos of what springs people are running to see how much they drop the car. I'm mostly interested in Lovells and Kings because I'm doing it on the cheap. Also just after some advice on whether to go superlows or just lows? Lovells website says that lows will drop the car 25-40 and the superlows 45-65mm, but anyway examples of what you've got would be good. Thanks in advance! Cheers, Ollie
  9. Does anybody know if AE86 seat rails bolt into the ae71/ ke70?
