Long time between updates, not much has been done. I managed to weld up the seat mount on the floor and remount my drivers seat properly. All my suspension is installed and sort of working, I have a bad knock from the passengers side strut area. I will investigate this when I get a chance. Other from that I have finally taken this beast for a drive! Still has the stock 4k in it but after driving it today it reminded me why I love driving this car. I can't wait to finish this now! Once I have figured out what this knock is I'll get a wheel alignment done then it's 5k time.

Finally got around to test fitting my new gauges pretty happy with how they came out! Still need to finish wiring them up. This is the mess behind the dash that powers the tacho and fuel gauge. All the lights work so that's a good start.

These came today Means I can finish off my front suspension before putting the motor back. I have some xt130 struts converted to coilovers. Unsure how well these will go as I bought them already done. May change them later down the line.

So I've been working on a couple of things. First off we have the dash I've been modifying. I have a couple of others to go into where the radio normally is. Secondly I mounted up my ebay alloy radiator just to make sure it fits and has no leaks. I'll run it for a quick bit with this 4k untill I finish my suspension so I can still drive for a wheel alignment. I also made up a fan shroud at work with some scrap ally sheet.

Very much so! Still have a few things that need doing to the car before this bad boy gets lowered in.

Well after sometime I have my motor all back and refreshed again. Some progress will start happening again soon! the only changes in this build are a different cam, slightly more port work, an adjustable cam gear and a re-graphed dizzy

so I thought I would start a thread for my Celica, safe to say its the expensive one out of my cars lol Anyway here's a quick run down 1984 SA63 Celica 1GGTE W58 MA61 rear subframe with disc brakes Weldy ( LSD's are expensive ) MA61 digital dash conversion ( only half of it works ) 3" exhaust Future plans involve Single turbo conversion ( have a manifold ) Rebuild my spare motor Aftermarket ecu Wind the boost up!

So its a 5k with the "O" dish pistons 4k head ported standard valves (hopefully not for long) combustion chambers have been re worked Solid rocker shaft spacers 1gge rods (had these laying about and decided to give them a try, they looked alot stronger than the 4k ones I had) Compression is around 10.5/1 Unsure on cam specs but I think it's around 275 degrees duration on both (doesn't kick in till 3000-3500 rpm) Has been balanced Fuel is supplied by a pair of 40mm dcoe webers Random set of extractors I already had (these will be changed at a latter date) I think that's all might have missed something out Later down the track I'd like to put a bigger cam in and some bigger valves and see what she'll do

So today Simon (Taz_rx) and myself tired fitting a sway bar to my ke55, well it didn't happen quite as planned anyway it seems my ke55 either has a different diff or the sway bar mounts on the diff have been changed. So I was wondering if anyone has some pictures of a ke70 wagon with a sway bar? (Google wasn't so helpful) Thanks in advance

Tried one of the wheels off my celica on the little rolla today 15x10 -26 superlight looks pretty good! Might have too try the front ones as well :)

So there was nothing wrong with the motor in the end! Feeling a little stupid but oh well! Found a sun visor that fits today! Lc/lj torana sun visors will fit

I picked them up off a mate, They have fairly fine mesh but I doubt I'll be going near any dirt roads with them on lol I have some uni filters as well but because of the ram tubes #3 is basically hard up on the strut tower and I didn't like how squished it looked From memory it's running 33° at 5000 rpm, 12° base I think. No not a genuine head gasket I didn't source them.. I did do a bit of googling and looks like I need to get one. My engine man is coming down in the morning to have a look I haven't wanted to touch it just yet because it "should" have some form of warranty will find that out tomorrow
