oh what a nissan feeling! Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 Hey, i was just on the rare spares website looking for new front and rear screen rubbers, and there appears to be two listings for each, with two separate part numbers. Is there two different shape ke25s or does anyone know the difference between these two sets of rubbers, there is also a price difference of about $2. thanks, any insight is appreciated. Quote
Raven Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 If i were you, I'd piss off the inserts and get a solid rubber. That way the corners don't lift up when they go hard. Quote
oh what a nissan feeling! Posted November 21, 2006 Author Report Posted November 21, 2006 So is that the difference??? One can have inserts and the other is solid?? Quote
Raven Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 Nope. I'd say one is KE20, the other is KE25 like its listed. WSF303 SEAL SCREEN FRT TOYOTA KE25 COROLLA COUPE 70-74 $125.24 EA WSR303 SEAL SCREEN REAR TOYOTA KE25 COROLLA COUPE 70-74 $151.80 EA Thats what you're after i gather? Quote
oh what a nissan feeling! Posted November 21, 2006 Author Report Posted November 21, 2006 Under the same listing there is also... 12-8135. SEAL SCREEN FRT TOYOTA KE25 COROLLA COUPE 70-74 $125.24 64812-12070 SEAL SCREEN REAR TOYOTA KE25 COROLLA COUPE 70-74 $148.01 EA Quote
Raven Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 (edited) I'd say one would be an original seal, the other a cheaper aftermarket one at a guess or one that doesn't have the chrome inserts. OR They happen to be new old stock or its just an old part number perhaps? Edited November 21, 2006 by Raven Quote
Jason Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 id say ones for the front ones for the back...... i didnt know front windscreens had rubbers? Quote
oh what a nissan feeling! Posted November 22, 2006 Author Report Posted November 22, 2006 (edited) hmm, no there are 4 part numbers 2 front 2 rear, oh well i shall ring them. Edited November 22, 2006 by oh what a nissan feeling! Quote
mattress Posted November 22, 2006 Report Posted November 22, 2006 Mate your best bet is to ring them or get to an agent for rare spares and have them ring. I got a price off their website for a full KE10 rubber kit at $726 which i thought was reasonable. I went to one of their agents and he rang them and asked about a certain part of the kit i wasnt sure about. Turns out the kit now has more stuff in it and is only $540. Quote
