do camrys run a water passage between the head and the intake manifold??

Irokin: Umm, no idea?

 

Teddy: I had a look into doing that, but getting to the headbolts requires taking the cams etc all out, basically everything in the head has to be taken out to get to them, and if I was going to do that I might as well change the head gasket too... Although I suppose if I just did that then I wouldn't need to take the intake/exhaust manifold etc off. Also, it uses an allen key sort of bolt?

i can't imagine just a head gasket would cost THAT much?

No, I don't think it would cost that much either. I don't know how much getting the head shaved would cost though.

 

It's mainly time, and motivation. I've got waaay too many commitments, and far too little time :P Haven't even unpacked my bags from when I came back, haven't replied to half my email, haven't paid my bills, have been late for work every single day, oh what a mess I am!

Avalonea seems to be always getting leaks on these rose jointed kinda connectors. (he told me what theyre called but I forgot)

Is that what they're called? They seem to be... cap heads? Not sure what size, where can you buy 1/2 drive allen key sockets?
