The S8 is okay. The R8 is like a car version of Darth Vader. It looks mean as hell. Still not entirely sure about the new Audi grille design though. It looks okay on the S8, but there's something a bit wrong with it on the R8.

 

And there are now rumours of Audi working on an R4, which will be a similar design to the R8, but a smaller car (bigger than the TT though). And they're close to bringing out an A5 (as well as S5), which is like an A4 coupe.

R8 looks horn. One would hope its a more rewarding drive than the very unremarkable TT.

 

Not that I'd buy one... I think if I had that amount of cash I'd rather build a house or go travelling for 5 years ;)

i'm not sure why the s6 and s8 get the v10 gallardo motor (albiet detuned) and the r8 "only" gets the v8. i reckon their excuse about not wanting to create competition in house is BS as the price difference between the lambo and the r8 would be big enough not to mention people buying lambos/ferraris are even bigger badge snobs and would turn their nose up an audi "supercar".
