puttin a ca in my ke30 lookin for engine mounts

any clues on what to use? :)

i seen somewhere on here range rover mounts?

but what one's -part number? any help would be good cheers.

The ta22 celica mounts are very similar to the corolla ones, but much stronger, these are the easiest to use i think. I usually hesitate to recomend them, because i thought they would not hold up, but its been a few years now and theyve held up great.

cheers mate. do ya have to mod the crossmember mounts at all using them?

You need to cut both the mounts off and reweld them, but with the celica mounts rewelding the standard corolla mounts is all that is required, if you scroll to the bottom of my link there is a few pics.

Interesting howd ya go with that clutch set up you still using the original pedal or the ta22 pedal?

It has recently been said on this site that the ta22 pedals will "bolt straight in" , mine is all custom so i don't know if its true.

ta22 pedals do not bolt in.

 

i tryed in my ke35.

 

no hope.

 

just have to cut up the ta22 pedal box and weld bits onto the ke3X pedal box.

 

not too hard.

just gotta finish restoring a ke10 before i get serious on the 30 ill keep ya posted.

yeah i used round range rover mounts from repco can't remember number they are just like 2 1/4' round at a guess. You will be welding the standard metel brackets to the cross member anyway after modifying to suit the location of the ca18 in the engine bay.

 

Mine are holding up to around 390hp at the motor or 301rwhp.
