slapper Posted July 12, 2007 Report Posted July 12, 2007 I've had to cut some of the chassis rail out from under the battery tray to address some rust issues (KE25). Any recommendations about welders in Adelaide? Preferably in the Prospect area if possible ... although, realistically, I'll go wherever I need to to get it done. cheers, Slapper Quote

Raven Posted July 12, 2007 Report Posted July 12, 2007 Yep I had the coupe done by SA Chassis & Suspension as I had rust on both rails plus under the battery tray. Cost me $660 all up and its all regency approved and was strengthened to handle a turbo conversion later on and he even rust protected my radiator support panel for me. Raven Posted July 12, 2007 Report Posted July 12, 2007 (edited) yup yup. He's a top guy, so ask lots of questions. He'll pop it up on his hoist and give you a quote too. I'm glad to see you're actually going to get the rust fixed as most people will just strip a car for parts once they find chassis rust, but these KE25's are getting thinner on the ground as you don't see too many of them these days. So good work champ. :) Let us know how you go and what he quoted you. He might remember my car if you tell him about the yellow KE25 that he fixed last year with rust in both rails and under the battery tray. Edited July 12, 2007 by Raven Quote
