15s are the biggest steelies that i can get i reckon and alloys cost $$$ to get from the boss second hand but theres nothing in 4x100 there atm only steelies

Not really. We'll just have to arrange to meet up sometime and I'll try them out to see if they fit and we can try to come to some sort of arrangement.

 

BTW, you didn't get them off Alex did you? If they are from him and they're anything like his Gemini engine, then I wouldn't want to go near them 'cause they'd surely be just about to explode or something. :jamie:

I've got this weekend off. Saturday is good for me as I'll probably end up doing some stuff with the Corolla to try and get it running on all four cylinders again. Will probably also fit the tacho as well. PM me and we'll arrange a time and place to meet up.

Yes it did just come back from Hi Tech. The problem should simply be a loose connector on one of the coils. I was going to try and fix that, but now have other plans for the weekend - part of which includes me getting pissed. WOO-HOO!!! Plus I may as well wait until Dave gets back to me about some Commodore coils which he's researching for me. I'll change the faulty connector at the same time.

I still have one of the engines sitting in the car just waiting to be pulled out (as it has been for the last two months). I just don't have access to an engine hoist. The other engine is waiting to be unbolted and everything from the blue car. The trouble is the blue car is sitting very low to the ground. I can get a jack under it, but as you know, all of my 'car stands' are in use under the red car. If you can get an engine hoist out to where I keep the cars, then we can pull the red car's motor out this Sunday.
