Can anyone tell me if clearance is a problem in putting a 7k into a ke70?

I have put a 5K in a KE70 before and i know the sump clearance was was next to nil.

Can a 4k sump be used if there is a problem?

Can all of the 4K components bolt straight on ( Inlet, exhaust and box and flywheel)

Your main concern is the engine is taller.

 

I've seen people mod the sump and oil pick-up before.

 

Might be worth searching the site and seeing what information you can find. :P

No mate, a 4k sump cannot be used as it is too skinny. you will most likely need to cut/mod the sump to clear the crossmember.
