Marques in the Park 2007 & Corolla Display

 

This year we will also be doing the Rolla Club ACT Corolla Display again and we will be inviting members from other states as well as other clubs to come along as well.

I do not care if it is a rust bucket or a work in progress. I will have my Hill Climb car as well as my Corolla Sprinter there even if it is still a work in progress.

 

The Rolla Club Corolla Display is open to both members and non-members and all Corolla models as well as Corolla based cars such as the Sprinter and Holden Nova as well as imports.

The 5th annual Marques in the Park is on Sunday the 25th November 2007.

 

This years theme is 100 years 1000 vehicles

 

Event Details:

8.00 - 9.00 am Gather next to Commonwealth avenue Bridge (optional)

 

9.00 am - Cruise, to John Knight Park

 

10.00 - 3.00 Kick back and relax

 

Remember this event is for everybody:

 

Young and Old, People and Cars

Bog stock to Hot Rod

Primer to Polished

Street Cars to Street Machines

Rusty to Restored

Hacks to Show Cars

Push bikes to Drag cars

 

Trade Stalls and food will be at the park.

 

Marques in the Park has grown from 200 cars in 2003 to over 550 in 2006, this year we are hoping to get 1000 vehicles on display, showcasing over 100 years of vehicles from the Canberra region. So tell you clubs and your friends and join in the fun on the 25 November 2007.

 

Marques in the Park is the Spring time motoring display for the Council of ACT Motor Clubs.

Entry to Marques in the Park and the Rolla Club ACT display for you and your car is FREE.

If you wish to have your car in the display you need to send an email to [email protected] before the 14th October.

All cars must be in place by 10am on the day.

pm me in the middle of november i might just be finishing the 20. pulling the front end apart know and doing all bushes springs shocks and such just have to fit hoppers stoppers brake kit & master cylinder then its off to m&a for the diff. maybe just maybe i'll make it.

What time are you meaning by early?

on a sunday, around 10 is early yes?? haha

Try 9AM need to set up tent and ant other stuff as the cars will then be put in place at 10AM.

Week day, you at 9am come on now you only just start to move at 10am and only really start to wake up around 11.

Providing rego don't cause me too many hassles in 4 hours when I take it over the pits....I should have my coupe there...either with the KE55, or instead of the KE55...not too sure yet
