blkzre Posted October 19, 2007 Report Posted October 19, 2007 (edited) Hey, Just wondering if anyone knows of any other mods available for the new ZRE Sedan, Just got dual exhaust and hi flow cat done, lowered, rims, Dark tint, full audio visual, was looking to get the Optitron dash installed, the unit is $1400 but apparently you may need a new computer.... Any other Ideas? Also does anyone know where to get a good set of extractors from?? Edited October 19, 2007 by blkzre Quote
Teddy Posted October 19, 2007 Report Posted October 19, 2007 Warning, the short version -> Changing parts on eg. exhaust can cause multiple long term PAIN and SUFFERING. You upset the O2 sensors, its alll downhill from there. By the sounds of it, That new car warranty which you should hold onto for dear life, has already been thrown out the window. :P ! Unless you reallllllly know what your doing, and have some serious money to play with, don't go fiddling with bolt on things. don't take it the wrong way, but if your asking for advice on the Internet ~ I'm going to take a guess (i hope I'm wrong) that you don't totally understand what you may be getting your self into.. ! For example. We have had a.. 4x4 (ill keep it at that) in at work, over the last few months. The owner has had a piggy back ecu, and aftermarket exhaust put on it. It appears to be coming in weekly to get the codes cleared, and more stock things put back on it, to try and make it run correctly.. lol. Lets just say the owner of this very expensive near new 4x4 wishes he never touched the thing. You can trick a carby car, But you can't fool an EFI system. Input, Process and Output. Computer only reacts to what it see's at the end of the day :bash: Have fun :lolcry: Quote
Jono Posted October 19, 2007 Report Posted October 19, 2007 when is the new sportivo (or top model equivalent) being released? you could mod your base model to kingdom come and it still won't be as nice. Quote

Well if you face it the base model is pretty bland, just want to get those things done to turn heads...and yes get some sort of enhancement, but if it means trashing the thing and throwing $$ out the window, well no thanks, the exhaust was already painful, as the new models have a cat/muffler in one system, hence the hi flow. Got a good kick out of it though. don't know how much mods will actually happen, its all fun while it goes right. Thanks Quote
