All I can find is manual info for the engine swap. Any others? I am also looking at a TA2 which has the auto box. Is the pushrod TA2/TA12 ok? phife Posted November 1, 2007 Report Share Posted November 1, 2007 There was a RWD 4 speed unit found behind some 4A engines but they were only available overseas. Something that could work but haven't tested, is to use a 4speed A40D tranny from corona RT142 or celica RA60/65 combined with the bell housing off the A40 3speed unit.
