Trev Posted November 1, 2007 Report Posted November 1, 2007 Hey everyone, The missus was checking out new stuff from our families on myspace and found a new blog entry by my sister, It was so touching that i thought i would share it with the rest of you not as a personal note to our family but to everyone as family matters alot so take care of yourselve's and your family. Thursday, November 01, 2007 The value of life............ Current mood: :P Please take time and read this....... I am very saddened by the sudden loss of my Aunty last night, it was a shock to everyone. I feel for my mum and her siblings who have lost a sister. And also to my Aunty's kids and grandkids. I am particularly upset as I hadn't seen or spoken to my Aunty, who was my mum's only sister, for quite some time. However the times I do remember of my Aunty are good ones. She was a very fun person to be around, she wasn't a square lol (inside joke). Always the life of the party. But the unfortunate passing of my Aunty has made me realize just how precious life really is. For instance, i have a cousin (who's the daughter of my Aunty who just passed) her and I were best friends until we had a fight which changed everything. We hadn't spoken for almost 2 years. But because of a tragedy we've agreed to put everything behind us and move on coz life is too short and you never know what's going to happen. But it shouldn't be like that, people shouldn't hold grudges or burdens. In the end you're the one carrying the burden, it's you that's unhappy. Learn to forgive...and forget. But don't leave it too late. So my advice, msg ur parents and tell them u love them. Msg the people dearest to you and tell them ur thinking of them and u hope they're ok. Hug and kiss ur loved ones as much as you can, a good hug can make your day alot brighter. If you have a partner, tell them you love. Don't argue about petty crap and if you do, don't make a big deal about it. Life is way too short and it's meant to be LIVED! So go and live it. And please don't hurt people around you because you never know what effect it could have on them. Be who you want to be. Laugh. Don't cry. Frowning uses more facial muscles so you'll end up with more wrinkles lol. Enjoy life people. To all my friends....I love you. I hope you're safe and I hope you're happy. I LOVE YOU OSCAR, I'M SORRY FOR ALL THE STUPID CRAP WE FIGHT ABOUT........YOU MEAN THE WORLD TO ME. I LOVE YOU!!!! Please take care of yourselves. Love, Amanda ? Quote
HRV-00S Posted November 1, 2007 Report Posted November 1, 2007 (edited) So true, sorry for your loss mate. I've got a big family and there all over the place, but were getting together for my sisters wedding next weekend, can't wait. It's just a shame it takes a tragedy like this to realise what's important Edited November 2, 2007 by HRV-00S Quote
