and the throtle shafts are bronze or brass (i forget)

Never had one issue with mine since they were setup correctly by my carby bloke. Nicely tuned and idles just right. :yes:

 

 

I`ll second that mine were done Dec 28th 2006 its been on two rollaclub great ocean road runs, a few long trips with some other clubs and a fair bit of running around(at least once a week) and it is still in tune and other than runnig real rich at idle which it has allways done its still good.

Find a good carby guy to tune it and you shouldn`t have a problem.
