my 4k used to idle at 8 to 900rpm but i was revving it and i revved over it 5000 and now it idles at 2000

and i can't get it to go back down. ive check the acceletrator cable and its allright and the choke cable and its fine

i also tryed to ajust the idel speed and mixture but no luck.

so i don't no what the problem is can anyone help

There is a vaccum leak. Check all the little rubber hoses and connections from point to point, if somethings hanging either plug it or reconnect it and test. Thats all I can think of, unless somethings up with the carby.

i check cable all pluged in when u rev it the revs don drop imediately the drop very slowly

tried stamping on the accelerator pedal to make sure the linkage hasn't stuck open. Used to happen with the first set of twins I fitted.
