I think they may have changed the rules to say you must have a NZ bank account.

 

No one over there seems to know what paypal is. An international money transfer is very expensive.

 

I have bought a few small things and sent cash in the post. One big thing that required a bank transfer was a painful process.

get a bank cheque written out, i can ask the guy for a cell number for you to contact him on and you guys can sort it out

I think you will find this isn't a solution.

 

I presume however a Bank of New Zealand account would be fine. Though I imagine they only exist within Australia in capital cities.
