from the speedo it is, and there is a few loose wires that werent connected to anything that i don't know where they go..... but the loom is still in place...

yeh i would get it engineered lol, what a series bell housing would be good one to use?? and also t50 gearboxs are getting rare ay?? I'm after one so if you know anyone.... yeh i suppose it would be the same deal as putting a 4age in it, have to change mounts and what not, ill do a search now...

hey guys do the ep91 4efte engine fit in these??? was just doing some reading and had the thougth cos of the 1300cc capacity it would keep it "kinda" original hahaha

cool lol, the WHOLE dash is out now including tacho and all that, i need some help with all that wiring when it comes to putting it back together.... AHHHH

already today, removed the black side strips pictured above and gave the boot a rub back.... for a respray in red should i sand it back to bare metal???

hey guys i got given a 1980 KE55 for xmas, needs a little TLC, but I'm already sanding it back to get sprayed in red, then I'm looking at putting all the dash and interior back together (NIGHTMARE) i need some help with wiring on that issue lol... pics will be up when i take some lol...so ill probs be using the search button quite a bit and asking plenty of questions.... thanks guys ill get some more pics up ASAP.. needs a little bit of work as i said but I'm tkaing it slow, doing the exterior first then the interior, then ill decide what to do engine wise...

it is a nightmare trying to put stuff together when i don't have a clue what goes where...

hey guys, when i bought my car it had the dash apart in it, so i was wondering what size screws and bolts are used to put it back together??? i know a few would vary but for the majority of it???

not as yet i don't have more pics but will get em up soon...as for location I'm in campbelltown for sanding this thing back what grade paper should i start at... it will be sprayed again in red...

ok guys ill get some pics up soon, but my uncle gave me a 1980 4 door ke 55 for chirstmas it is faded red (custom lol) has it's fair share of cancer and dents (nothing irrepareble but) everything is stock as at the moment.. i was just up for some ideas, i have a spare FWD smallport 4age that i was gonna put in it, and i just want some recommendations for waht dif i should use, and waht brakes i should use both front and rear, keep in mind this is not going to be worked jus thte stock 4age in there... so waht should i use?? i was gonna flipp the rear leaf springs, but what drum brakes can i use that will be efficent???or what else can i do for the rear?? front i don't really know what i can use for struts aparts formt eh rona/hilux/pug conversion but that seemed a little overkill for hwat i intend it for.... let us know guys Pics up UPDATE: Ripped off all the badges and shizz today because it finally arrived lol....gonna start taking all the interior apart, and get hte old 3K running again, then gonna start sanding the whole thing back and get it shaved and ready for paint..

hey guys, finally got my 1980 model KE55 from my aunlce and started pulling it apart and what not, now i realsised the roof lining is pretty much RS so i was wondering if any one still makes them for hte ke55?? or is it a trip to the wreckers job??

so neat mate, if you don't mind me asking.. what diff are you running?? and what front suspension???? and also how much you pick up the 7k for lol... how does she go with the 7k in her??

thank god I'm in no rush lol.... is the stock fuel line size going to be sufficent to power a turbo engine?? (only small power though) I'm not going all out like i don't want to drift just a tough little streeter.... GODDAMM budget.. lol...

^ life saver lol, i am part of so many forums and that is the best answer i have heard LOL... so the CA18 i can get from my uncle includes gearbox, so i would have to "massage" the tunnel for it to fit right?? and i can get a borgwarner Diff frfom which model commo??? the rear disks are a great thing lol.... thanks heaps mate....
