i feel like abit of a douche posting this up lol, but i searched and couldn't find anything. I'm having dramas removing the window winders from the doors of my wags, i used to remember how to do them when i had my old commodore but its lost from my memory, any pointers??

Get a strip of chux or a crappy open weave cloth.

 

Push the trim back to create a small space to push it into.

 

Drag through so it catches the circlip hiding underneath and it will pop off.

 

Winder then slides off.

 

Its ok to be a bit forceful, and don't stress if you lose the clip, you can buy new ones at repco.

thats all sorted now thanks guys. now i have another question lol. iv stripped down the door innards apart from the door handle, iv removed the 2 bolts from the inside that hold it in, but can't figure out how to remove the door handle linkage from the door lock?

also can you get replacement window regs? cos mine are totally shagged :hmm:.

also, how does the window channel closest to the door hinge side of the door come off, i can't see any other screws/bolts :y:.

the lil plastic clip around the rod is part of the handle, what you have to do is pivot the plastic peice clockwise to is unclips from arount the rod, then pull the rod up, simple as that..
