ok so big update... i went to the dyno and he said come back at 11 so i went to repco and the car died... after a few hours of searching and a tow, i found the 12v ignition source for the ecu shorting on the head... patched it up and all ok but no dyno :hmm: ... so now i have "the lemon :y: " i am taking the ae71 off the road for.... t series diff with LSD, full coilover suspension with camber tops, new exhaust, paint, guards (from terry), and cough... mod plate... cough cough hopefully... or i might sell it, for the right offer but I'm gona keep goin on it until someone offers me what i want.. anyway il keep this updated as things happen

ok just bought a t18 diff off some dude on ae86dc for 250 dissassembled so i now need an lsd centre for it... also getting from him front suspension off his ae86 :lol: car is stripped down being sanded back for paint atm will post pics soon

the t-18 diff is now for sale as i now have ae86 lsd rear end, custom front coilovers using all ae86 struts and hubs etc... dbc brakes all round and whiteline adjustable front and rear swaybars here are some pics...

 

car is now a track only beast! things on my list include full rollcage, bucket seat, straight through exhaust, management and so many other things lol

front suspension is in and ready to be aligned i also got front and rear strut braces off a mates ke70 he is wrecking (check my topics)

 

need to get some custom rear springs made as the kingys ive got wont sit at the right height...does anyone on here do rollcage fabrication btw?

nah i don't have a spare one but they are everywhere man I'm sure youl find a cheap one... use an rb20 box, fits in std shifter hole... i didnt and learned the hard way... put engine and gearbox in at the same time bolted together, not much room in the tunnel... if you aint good with wiring get someone else to do it, i didnt have any trouble but i am qualified mechanic....lol

 

as much as i hate sayin this, look on boostcruising for a motor *cringes for fear of taunting*

Cheers bud i was actually thinkin of using a t50 with a custom bellhousing to suit the ca but if rb20 box's go straight on y not, yeah it would definately be an auto sparky doin the wiring i'm just to lazy and not confident enough to attack wiring just yet give me time lol, yeah i have been lookin around on boost loosing for a motor but every man and there dog wants to much for them so you no just be patient and you shall be rewarded so the sayin goes, another thing how hard was your fuel setup to do?

just finished off the suspension and diff tonight... have cut low king springs in the rear so i can set up my ride height to what i want then get custom springs made.... its f@$kn low atm the exhaust is not even an inch off the ground lol... should leave it that way but il raise the front a bit :jamie:
