I don't believe you would lose the squirters?

Just checked - 20v engine's all have oil squirters. They have the 42mm big end diameter and 20mm gudgeon pin diameter. The silvertop version has the same rods as the 4A-GZE, aside from the head, the only real difference is the pistons. Unless you intend to change the cams or valves, the 20v head is better than the 16v. The 16-valve's only have an advantage when you put in massive valves and cams. You will be able to get 200rwkw on standard 20v cams. Just buy my 20v, drop in your forged pistons (and rods if you feel the need), slap a turbo manifold & your GT28RS on the side, buy Stephen's plenum, and get an aftermarket ECU, and you'll straight away get AT LEAST 150rwkw.

 

EDIT: BTW, $500 for a silvertop is a damn good price. If you want one from a wrecker from interstate, you'll be paying about $1,000 for just an engine, plus another few hundred for freight. You should be seriously considering it.

The silvertop 20V has the same rods as the ae101 gze, the ae92 gze has thicker rods :hmm:

 

I have a 20V plenum AND aftermarket ecu :)

my lt10s and tuneing should be good for some 150+ at the wheels

Andrew - the 20v plastic cover can be removed to expose the metal cam cover that is underneath - might be worth investigating to get a completely different look to everyone else?
