irokin Posted January 29, 2005 Report Posted January 29, 2005 You might not have selected the correct thermostat temperature range. It also doesnt help when your from Canada where 90% of the country is experiencing sub 0 temperatures. Increase your thermostat temperature and when summer comes your going to have to swap back to your current one I guess (don't not run a thermostat. The coolant needs resistance so that it can pickup the heat. Your temperature gauge might show a good temperature but there will be hot spots inside the engine where the coolant flows past too quick and can't pickup enough heat). Quote
