Hey guys, I bought Stephens Corolla about a week ago, and now it's giving a whole lot of trouble, it's coughing up black smoke, and the timings out, I'm not so worried about the timing, but the black smoke worries me a lot, I think black smoke means that the motor gets too much fuel, if that's the problem, what can I do about it?

 

If anyone can give me any advice, I would appreciate it so much.

yeah your right, black smoke usually means its running too rich. what type of engine is it? if its a carby just find the fuel mix screw and lean that sucker up
