Hey guys,

while at skidpan last weekend i broke something to do with the clutch cable from excessive clutch kicking.

when it happened there was no pressure on the clutch cable so nothing would happen when i put the peddel in.

we put tension on it to get me through the night but now after putting another 4k in and putting it back together i can't get the same effect.

i put a new clutch/pressure plate in while the motor was out and I'm 99% sure i did it correctly..

so my overall question is. is there any adjustment in the clutch cable to keep tension on it, and is this what i broke?

any help is much appreciated

Cheers

matt

well after looking at it again with a mate it seems i need the mount that stops it cable heading towards the gearbox.

i have got it drivable but it is far from ideal.

if anyone has one of these mounts hit me up..

also i have no adjustment so i could be missing the adjustment item.

cheers

I second the eclip ,there should be a rubber grommet in to fire wall

then a large flat washer then the e clip.Which clips on the outer

cable.Eclips can be found at repco or super cheap on those champion

bolt stands the spin around ones. But you have to buy a assortment

pack.I had to buy some yesterday there is one in there that fits perfect. :fuzz:

hope this helps .
