Falken_KE30 Posted September 1, 2008 Report Posted September 1, 2008 Ok, first of all i have a KE30 2 door, which the previous owner put square headlights off a KE55.. THe KE55 lights have their own light supports which i asume bolt onto the front of car?? not sure.. Anyway, the ones i hade where welded in place and i have since removed them with plans of putting round ones back in. The round ones have a adjusting screw up top, and the sides closest to the radiator.. Well in my case the ones on the sides have been cut away in order to fit cooler piping thru for a intercooler. What I'm wondering is can i reweld the sections missing into place from a donor KE30, or will i have to do something else? Here is a pic with bits cut out, its the only pic i had on pc showing them. Redwarf Posted September 1, 2008 Report Posted September 1, 2008 If you really want them back, find a round headlight wreck, drill the spot welds on each car and transfer the whole rad support panels. I've just had to do that on one of my cars...... Quote
Taz_Rx Posted September 2, 2008 Report Posted September 2, 2008 If I where you I'd just made some little adapter brackets that screw to the rad support panel and then have the adjuster screw bolt into it, rather than going to the trouble of trying to weld something in. If you haven't done anything about it befor Saturday I'll explain a little better what I mean, and could most likely give you a couple of "central locking straps" to use for it. :P Quote
