I have been thinking about motors and stuff, again. Heres my idea(s).

Configure the injectors (on a 4/7ke setup) to fit into the spark plug holes, and machine holes for new position for spark plugs. Ill let you guys do the whys, pro's and con's lol.

Also, what would the effects be if i was to completly remove the middle wall between 1 and 2 inlet, 3 and 4 inlet - make it all smooth offcourse, and a manifold to match... =) -> increase exhaust ports as well.

;)

teddy, when the police are burning their confiscated drugs, stand UPWIND =)

it would be a lot of work... and prob creat more probs than it would solve.

to relocate the plugs youd have no choice but to put them on th eother side. id leave them where they are. and maybe mount the injectors on the other side. however you have pushrods and water jackets to worry about....

I'm gunna say its impossible.

and i don't get what you mean about the ports?

but don't stop thinking ;)

About your inlet idea, do you mean all of the material between the pairs of ports on the head?

lol yup - excatly.

Was also thinking about if its possible to change the position of the valves, so that they are more / \ angled in that way. Then just uber oversize the ports and straight drill down to the valves... if that makes any sence.

damnit the 4age is so much better...

I think you might want to start with a chunk of billet alloy....and go nuts....

siamese ports generally aren't a good idea, i think you'd slow down airflow and create too much reverse flow (heads do flow in reverse too) for it to have any decent real world application. look up anything about minis or early holden sixes, with siamese ports, they suck

direct head injection (like a gze?) is a good idea for economy and atomisation, but you can get more power by boxing the whole intake and mounting the injectors spraying straight into a dcoe-style throttle body, before the butterflies, strange but true

if you were to spend the money on a piece of alloy to make your own K head, the billet chunk would cost more than an entire 4age motor. and you wouldn't make a head anything like a 4k head, you'd make a twincam crossflow 16v/20v head with inserts for the combustion chamber. i remember reading about one like this on a drag bike, the head cost about 40 grand

unless you have the bits laying around and can do it all yourself, a K motor is just not worth this much effort

yes but the odd thing about the injectors beofe the butterfly is position doenst alter power as much as it does when mounted after. guess thats to do with the fact that no matter how the fuel enters the butterflys, it exits the same way all the time
