I guess if you've got it laying around you could destroy a perfectly good KE20. 7MGE would be a much better powerplant if you're looking at a healthy straight 6, or if you're intent on breaking away from the toyota heritage, a RB30DE... I remember reading in street machine about these guys who'd poured about 15 grand into an old 202 and actually produced 300 bhp naturally aspirated... but why??? the 7MGE puts down 200 from the factory, and i'm sure the nissan engines do something similar. Compared to the 100-110 ? (It's been a while since i had my overrated condition HQ) that the 202 makes... seems like an exercise in futility. Miggy Posted November 16, 2008 Report Share Posted November 16, 2008 If it was me I would go something newer like a SR20DE light motor with plenty of power and reliable you could even go DET if you wanted to and that would be a monster.
