3tc Head On 2tc Block

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

performed a brief search on this site and came up short handed and a little distracted. (seems to happen alot on here :lolcry:)

Has anyone on here done this conversion? howd it go? if not anywhere that i could get some info on the conversion?

Thanks!

guess not.

.... anyone?

Can't say I've ever heard of anyone doing it. I can't see why it wouldn't work but in all likelihood you'll end up with lower compression (I suspect this is what you're after anyway?). The T motors are much like the K's when it comes to interchangeability.

Honestly i am just doing some conceptual work...

... spinning the gears of my brain and such..

thanks

i beleave that it will bolt straight on i think that all the 2tc and 3tc head have the same cc chambers so if I'm right comp will not change. I'm pretty sure it is only the 2tg head that have smaller chambers.

dan.

yeah, the heads are the same,

but I'm going the other way putting a 2t head on the 3t

yea.. i was just going over in my mind that a lower compression with a turbo would potentially give more high end power but less low end power

would that be correct

i think so. that sound about rite,

are you thinking of turboing the 2t?
