just got myself another grille (got three now lol) down from the wreckers.

its the one with 5 verticle chrome strips in wicked condition too,

was wonderin if this one was rare or sumfin cause i know i havnt seen one around.

Nope, not rare. In fact you can buy that one aftermarket brand new. I'm pretty sure there ae only 3 different types of KE55 grilles.

 

1. Jailbar.

2. Chrome around the outside that matches the chrome strip along the bonnet.

3. and the square headlight one.

 

Well they are the only ones I can think of that we got. I may be wrong tho.

Didn't someone on the site have a honeycomb one though JiP?

I'm pretty sure the honeycomb grille is from the early KE35.

I think that is a PanelVan grille?????

I have no way to prove that wrong. My only KE55 brochure has a shot of the rear only in it.

 

I always thought that the 1979 got one type of grille and they updated it for the 1980??

 

**But I can't confirm that one either**
